Kona Cafe is perfect for a b-day dinner. I agree with a PP, head out to the beach afterward to watch Wishes.

I agree with Kona. It's a very casual atmosphere, but festive enough for a birthday, while not being too cutesy.

I would choose OHANA! It has great food, drinks and dessert. And... if you time it for a later dinner, you can watch wishes from inside the restaurant!

CG may be too fancy for you... Boma is okay, but it PALES in comparison to Jiko. I dream about the steak I had there!! I don't think we will ever be able to make another trip to the world without eating there. It's just amazing. It's the best food I've ever eaten in my life (but don't tell my Mom - shes a chef!)

We've had a couple of terrific experiences at the Grand Floridian Cafe. The restaurant is pretty and not as crowded as some of the others. The service has been consistently great. The food was delicious and they have one of the best dessert menus in the World. Even the no-sugar added dessert was so good we all wanted to have some.
