Any Garmin GPS Experts?

Would you go for the Garmin nüvi 255W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator or the Garmin nüvi 760 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Automobile Navigator


There is only a $18 difference.

I have the Garmin 260W (plus the handheld 60C) and haven't kept up with the models since I bought; however, I'd recommend that it have these features:
1) widescreen
20 speaks street names (not just "turn left in 500'" but "turn left onto Main Street in 500' ")

you can't go wrong with a Garmin!

My partner has a Garmin 260. She didn't need any other bells and whistles other than what it provides. She loves it. It's a definate step up from her old Magellan.

I have a 260 and really really like it, however on a recent trip to Canada it kept insisting on taking me from Indiana through NY to get to Ontario which was completely out of the way. Out of the way by about 12 hours. Still haven't figured out why it did that. Other than that issue its awesome and I don't need anything else with it. However, having one that speaks the street names is a must for me and why I got this model.

We have the Garmin Nuvi 760 and just love it! We first used it without reading the manual - big mistake...LOL The default voice was a British female and we had a hard time understanding it....but we were able to change it to a deeper, American accent - oila - clear as a bell. We also wondered why it wasn't telling us the name of the streets, as that was one of our key demands. Again...all we had to do was read the manual.

We have the 255 and it's really nice. Has some features that my car's built in system doesn't have (like tells the speed limit on the street you are on).
