Any Fun, Creative and Cheap ways to wrap Pillow Pets?

I hate the thought of just putting the pets into a gift bag, so Dis'ers tell me your best, most creative and CHEAP ways to wrap pillow pets. I have a unicorn and dog to wrap.

Attach a long leash or piece of ribbon and wind it all around the house and end it with the Pillow Pet in the closet. Did this with our new puppy years ago!

That's a cute idea! Two of my older DSs were home sick one day so they helped me wrap and just folded up the pillow pet and wrapped it with wrapping paper, but it ended up with more tape than paper

Stuff it in a box. Not creative but heck of a lot easier to wrap!

Buy a pretty pillow case (it's a PILLOW pet after all) and tie with a ribbon. Reusable, too!

What about a fleece blanket? Pillow and blanket for snuggling up watching TV or a movie! Place the Pillow Pet in the middle and gather it up like a gift basket...tie with a ribbon or bow..

I love the ribbon idea. I think Santa will do that with the two my kids are getting from Santa this year.

ummm, stick a bow on it and call it a day.

That is what i do with "too big to wrap" stuff that comes from Santa. It is so exciting, because they can see it as soon as the come in the room on Christmas morning.

I had bought large gift boxes (10" deep) at some after Christmas sale in the past few years. I used one to put two Pillow Pets together for my niece's girls--I have them a separate gift also. I am using the other two boxes for my kids with their pillow pet and a number of other things for them from us and not Santa. Not creative but fun for the kids to dig through their boxes to see what they got.
