Any FL State Alumni on board???

After checking out multiple VA schools, my 16 yr old dd wants to go to FL state. We are residents so that makes mom and dad's pocketbook very happy. She hasn't visited yet but she has her mind made up (as much as any 16 yr old !!hehe) any advice? And she is over my shoulder asking how is the cheerleading squad?? Anyone use the Bright Future scholarship program? Thanks!! And BTW HAPPY EASTER

I didn't go to FSU, but I went to the better university, the University of Florida. Go Gators!

Didn't go for undergrad but that is where my Masters is from. Don't know much about the Cheerleading squad except it is very competative to get on.

Thanks. My dd heard the same too. I told her she is going to school to get an education but she thinks of college more as a social club. Go figure!!

The cheerleaders do come out for fan days (football for sure) and pose for photos with fans and sign autographs. DD is impressed with them. That's all I know.
FSU is a social club too .
And I did the opposite-Masters from another college.
