Any feedback yet on the nighttime stuff at AK??? I have a bit....

I moved our Safari FP for next Thursday up to actual sunset time. Hoping that will help out some. And for JB show I am excited about it but have also checked any expectations I have for the show. My wife (a dance instructor and dancer for the last 20 years) is very much looking forward to the "parties" in Africa and the Oasis (i think). We will see, finger crossed!!!

My friend there now saw the Jungle Book show and said it was cool although not quite up to Fantasmic or World of Color at DL standards.

It's not supposed to be the same quality as these shows. It was a last minute stand in for Rivers of Light and while it is enjoyable to some, it is in no way meant to be a nighttime spectacular. It's definitely just a show. If it's still showing when you travel in October, go in with that in mind and try to enjoy it for what it is.

My friend there now who said the other night was a BUST...did it again two nights ago right at sunset before it was completely DARK and it was GREAT. They saw a lot of animals!!!

Hours are likely to be extended and there's no parades at animal kingdom
There used to be a Christmas parade years ago. Something like the Jingle Jamming parade or something like that. LOL

To put it bluntly Safari at Night is horrible.

We did it one night at 9:20 and came off saying well that was really bad so silly us we tried it another night and it was actually worse.

I truly feel for the folks playing extra for JB reservations, it is so not worth it at all.

However the entertainment, EE and TOL are all splendid.

We did the night time safari and I agree, when it was very dark the sunset looked out of place. We did it closer to actual subset and it was much better.
