Any extra's for referral?

Does a current DVC owner get any sort of referral bonus if they refer someone new to Disney that then makes a DVC purchase?

It is my understanding there is an incentive. I think Disney Dollars if someone you refer buys into DVC. I think the sales representative will ask at the end of the presentation for the reference. I recall I gave a name to the representative, which was entered into the computer. She did this transaction while I was present. I am not sure of the amount of dollars it maybe tied to the amount of points in the purchase!

What you get depends on where you live. Many states (like CT) have laws preventing DVC from compensating people for referrals.

There are choices in the method you can collect for referrals as a member, you can have the amount credited to your dues, in Disney Dollars, towards another contract purchase and it increases for each referral, it should be in your guiidebooku

Just got my membership book and referrals are covered in the Sharing the Magic section. Depending on state residency you can either get Disney dollars, Credit on Annual Dues, Credit toward purchase of additional ownership interest or donate to the "Give Kids the World". The Levels are $200 for first referral in a year, $350 for your 2nd referal in a year, and $500 for 3rd referral in a year. oops, notice from your post that you are from Pennsylvania. The memberhsip book says PA is one of the Inelgible States.

Sorry Mickey Moose, us Pennsylvanians aren't allowed to have any "kickbacks"! Bob Connor,our guide,(who is now unfortunately deceased) would always do something nice for us like take us into Pleasure Island etc. How's things up there in New Hope?

Hi Guys! Thanks for the replies and the offers . The friend that referred me lives in Mississippi. If PA is not eligible does that mean my Mississippi friend gets nothing when we join living in PA?
