Any experiences with Gullivers?

I was reading a post yesterday that mentioned a themed buffet at Gullivers at the Swan. Does anyone know if this is always the same as far as what type of food on the certain day of the week. I am planning a trip for our 10-yr. wedding anniversary and was looking for someplace to eat with parents and in-laws that isn't in one of the parks. I've never been to Gullivers so I'm wondering if anyone has any info about the food, atmosphere, etc.. Thanks!

I was just coming here to ask about Gulliver's. I am interested in hearing about the themed buffet nightly. On Allearnet it shows a sample menu for Friday night and it sounds very good.

But was wondering what everyone's experience has been.

We've eaten here a few times.
The food isn't quite as good as, for example, 1900 Park fare or Chef Mickey's, nor is it as wide ranging. But in saying that it's still pretty good. The character interaction is a little more limited than most of the Disney resort offerings, but it's still pretty good.

All things being equal I'd prefer WDW hotel offerings, but for people staying at the Swolphin, convenience could swing the balance.

It was the most and I mean this one of the worst meals we had ever had.
Our bill was 300.00 for 6 people. Not complaining about the price if the
food had been even slightly good or the staff pleasant. The characters
came by one time-we don't feel we were special, but the the place was
not even 1/2 full. The food was cold or old-wilted salad. Please I could
not be more serious when I strongly advise against this place to eat.
