I'm looking for about 150 points at OKW with resale (we're not interested in the extension because of our age). I need a UY of December and am looking for a contract that isn't stripped. We dealt with The Timeshare Store before and liked them. Should I wait for the right contract to come up with them or has anyone tried DVCResales before?

We purchased from Jaki when she was at another broker and she was terrrific. We've also had a great experience with TTS. Either way I think you'll be happy.

Cannot say enough great things about Jaki and ****. They are both Wonderful.
When I call **** and I will always talk about 10 minutes or so.Very very nice.
Give them a try and tell them Misty says Hi.

Wow, your title got ****'d out. You must not be talking about the Timeshare Store. ;) Katherine

We have recently closed on our resale contract with Jaki and ****.:thumbsup2

They were fabulous! Very professional and in contact with us throughout. The process was smooth and problem free. Very nice people.:thumbsup2

I would highly recommend them to you.:goodvibes

We're in the midst of buying a resale with them now, and they've been great. Nothing but positives for me to say.

Since we're on the topic of the other company, can anyone tell me if they charge any additonal fees like GMAC? What are their closing costs? TIA!

I just spoke to them this morning and they didn't mention any admin costs, just closing costs, which I think are pretty much the same as The Time Share Store.

Jaki and **** were great and was willing to bear with us in the search for a loaded SSR contract. They both put a great deal of work into getting our deal done and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. The ultimate contract is the fabled "triple" with banked points and this year's and next years points. Be patient for it and be ready to pounce. Even if you don't need the points they are worth at least $10 a point on the open market. Thats some serious savings!!!!!

I've been speaking to **** and he seems very nice.

I'm on the outlook for the "impossible" contract, 50 points, BWV or BCV, June UY and NOT stripped. Yeah, I'm shooting for the moon!

Anyway, **** was great, and I keep on looking. Something will work out eventually..;)

Jaki and ****'s site is http://www.**********.com/ and there is no problem posting that information as well as most other resale broker's websites. Actually, any may be posted as long as the word fliter is allowed to do it's job. If asteriks appear, the filter has fulfilled it's responsibility. Please try to refrain from commenting about or speculating about why the asteriks are there, the reasons have never been discussed publicly and any attempts to bypass the filter would be a violation of the DIS guidelines and will be treated accordingly. Suggestions that ANY words or websites are in the filter because of pressure or urging from a DIS sponsor are absolutely false.

With any of these brokers, if you are looking for something specific with regard to number of points and "condition" of the contract (banked/borrowed/current points), I'd suggest calling the broker(s) to let them know of your interest instead of just waiting to find something listed on their site since a number of contracts never make it to the website since they are grabbed up by buyers who have let the broker know their wants in advance.

**** worked hard for us and actually was able to get a contract from another company, when he ran out of inventory for impossible contracts. We made the mistake of planning a vacation for our DVC before owning one, so we felt more and more pressure as the "7 month window" approached:scared1: . Be patient and you will have a great resale. All our worry was unnecessary, we got everything we wanted reserved once we closed.
