Sorry, Jennifer $3.33 an hour is a pretty bad wage, don't you think? Especially since you need to pay both sides of social security from that and pay for all of your expenses. And unless you are making $680 for every 3 hours of your time, the one time that you did it - so what. I've done better than that at a yard sale.
So unless you are willing to share your schedule C plus how many hours you have worked during the year, then all of your talk about how much money you make, week to week or hour to hour is absolutely meaningless. See, I won't take "your highest check" as what you normally make.
And "direct sales" is a fancy way to say Multi Level Marketing. Multi level marketing companies are pay to play companies. In other words, you have to buy into the job. You are then encouraged to recruit your own customers. And the only way to get "promoted" is to pull more people into your "downline." No reputable company does that.
I am sorry that you are involved in this company. And I hope at some point you will realize that 99% of all people in MLM companies lose money. But in the meantime, if you would like to educate, how about answering some of the questions that I have posted?
Have you ever been told to wear your name tag upside down, while out in public? Have you been told that you can get leads by talking to people in the cleaning aisle? Do you receive any training from anyone other than your fellow sales people? Someone that is a chemist or something like that?
You have been at this for less than a year. How many parties have you held? How many people have you recruited? How many people do you have to recruit to move up to Team Coordinator? How about a Sales Leader?
Edited to add: Have to checked your contract to see if you are allowed to sell and recruit on line?
