Any Dodge Ram truck owners...a ??

Do you know if you should be able to see how many miles (that digital readout) are on the truck without turning the key on???

I just got my truck back this week and just this morning went into the truck and noticed the number display is lit.....

I'll have to look at DH's truck later but I don't think you should be able to see any digital readouts if the car is off. I just looked at mine and it's not on, I don't have a Dodge truck though.

I don't think it should be like that either...all my other cars I had you had to turn the key on....

I think I will go out and start it and turn it off again.....

went out and turned it on and off....still on....but then I wiggled the key in the ignition and it went off.

Thinking that when they replaced the column/ignition maybe they didn't do something right or something is loose.

Guess I have to call the shop that fixed it.....hopefully it's an easy fix......WHAT A PAIN!!!!

Something must be loose, they have to fix it, if it stays on it will drain the battery.
