...the night before Easter?

We are DVC members/AP holders and we are arriving in Orlando (by car) on the day before Easter and our DVC reservation does not start until Sunday.

We are on a fairly tight budget, as are my parents who are coming with us. Right now, we have a 2BR suite booked at the Residence Inn about 15 minutes away. With my dad's senior discount, the room comes to only $180.

I was *hoping* to afford something on-property, even if we had to get two value rooms. I'd LOVE to surprise mom and dad with a 2BR at SSR for the night (since we are eating at T-Rex at 3:30pm before heading to the MK), but I cannot afford another $700. I could probably cover 2 rooms at Pop Century, but a discount could bump us up to a moderate.

No, I haven't received any PIN codes either. I got one in August, after I'd booked my October birthday trip with my AP discount. I was able to apply the PIN code and save another $30 so that was nice. Now, where is the discount when I need it.....

If you are a AAA member, it is possible that there are room only discounts available. there are only a limited number of rooms with a discount, but there could still be some left.

I don't know if it will make you feel better but the current 'pin for 2010' excludes easter week and anything close. It ends 3/27 and doesn't pick back up till 4/11. Keep looking though something may come up espically if you are looking for a deluxe, those seem to be the most frequent discounts (and best) offered for next year.
