Be careful about buying seconds! My only piece of All Clad came from Marshalls and I was thrilled to find it, until I figured out that the imperfection was the bottom wasn't level. It's a 12 inch skillet and it rocks on my glass top stove. If I had a gas stove it wouldn't matter so much, but now one side will burn while the other doesn't get hot enough.

Thanks for the tips. I signed up for email alerts at Williams Sonoma.
I would use outlet pieces at home, but DSIL might not appreciate them. Hopefully I'll find sales before the holiday.

You could try Bed Bath and use their 20% off coupons (hopefully All-clad is not on the exluded items list)
That was going to be my suggestion. I live in Pittsburgh, not too far from the All-Clad plant and twice a year, they have a huge sale on their seconds. I went to the sale in June and picked up $600 worth of All-Clad pans for $200. If you're up for a road trip, they will have another sale the first weekend in December.
