ANY discounts EVER for December???

We have a change of plans and need a package discount. Hoping summer 08 willhave soething available. Is there a whos going inDec 2008 thread or is this turning into the place?

I haven't seen a nother december thread yet so I guess this is it for now. Maybe someone should start one?

This is not a general public code, so it is only if it was sent you via email, however I spoke with a GG CM today and she said they do often come out to the public a month or so later, althought they are usually not as good as the original pin code, it is a discount. Also for the past few years the Disney Visa code that comes out in August has been good in Dec, and that is what I use for late november to mid dec travel... and the CM said the Disney visa is usually one of the best codes (aside from free dining).

after reading all of this Im wondering If Im overpaying..

Im staying mid december in por with 2 adults 1 teen in a double with meal plan and non hopper tickets for 5 nights 6 days for 1,950.00 did I overpay???

I got From Dec 18th - Dec 31st with a 40% off room rate. This was from a email offer sent out the end of January 2007.

Just $49 nightly over Christmas for Values! Good luck

there was, and then it became a public (general) code... I am not sure if it is still valid. ZQM is the code I used- Disney visa/ myw + dining pkg

Wondering if there are any updates to this thread? Are there any available discounts for December 2008 open to the general public? We're considering making a 2nd trip this year and it would be Dec. 6-13 at either one of the port orleans or at the wilderness lodge. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer. Way too early to have any discounts besides AAA, Bounceback (Bounceback=booking while you are staying at a WDW resort for another stay in the future), or by getting a PIN code attached to your name (some people report getting this by signing up for WDW trip planning video, Disney VISA, etc.).

The general public discounts for December of 2008 will probably show up around August of this year, and will be posted here as soon as a DISer spots it!

Not true, there was a 40% PIN code that came out mid Jan, but it ended I believe 3/31/08- it was good in Dec (I used it the dates in Dec were the 6th or 7th until 18th maybe we are going 7-14th, so I know those dates were included), it could also be used 7 other times throughout the year!

Uh, yep, I did list the PIN code in my first reply
