Any discounts available for Discovery Cove? - I want so badly for my 11 year old daughter to get to do it - maybe with my wife - but WOW - that's a lot of money!!

the only one I've ever seen is the one for FL residents. it's $199.00 for select dates in the year.

It's a lot of money - but worth every penny!! We took our family of 5 in Feb 2005 and it was the highlight of our trip. Factor in all of your meals and 7 free days at Sea World or Busch Gardens and it's a bit easier to take. We spent 2 1/2 days at Sea World and really took our time and loved it - we wouldn't have done that otherwise.

DC's rates vary by season, so maybe try to go in an "off" season which BTW February was. It's an amazing experience!

If you pay the full price for a child (dolphin experience included) and you pay the entrance price for a parent - can the parent be there on the side (for support) - out of the water watching the child with the dolphins?

that's a good question to call DC with. when we've been there, only people participating in the dolphin encounter were allowed in the lagoon. others had to remain on the beach. that's also the only area you can take pics or video from.
