Any discounts at all on Express Passes?

From what I heard (this is just what I've heard other people saying.. I'm not saying it's true or not), it's cheaper to purchase them when you purchase your park tickets.

However, inside the park at any of the stores, we do not give discounts on EPP whatsoever.

i don't know about what you heard if it has any validity.

but, i do know if you buy HHN tickets and EPP together, there is a slight discount, or it was last year when i bought them.

The only special is a Mastercard special. If you purchase your tickets using Mastercard you can buy express for halfprice. This is only good for one park not the two park combo. If you want both parks you will have to purchase an express for one park and an express for the other park and each will be half price.

Example: Express for Universal is $15 right now and $15 for IoA. A combo for both parks is $25. You can buy an express fo Universal for $7.50 and an express for IOA for $7.50. But you can't buy a combo for $12.50. I hope that makes sense. You also have to purchase you express using a Mastercard.

wow, i never knew that and have had the universal mc for over 3 years.

too bad it doesn't work that way for the epp on hhn

Don't worry, macraven. You didn't miss anything. The Mastercard special has only been going on a month or so. They had it during Christmas break and then it was discontinued and just recently has been offered again. They didn't have it on your trips.

Is this express pass discount available with any Mastercard or just Universal's Mastercard? I'm wondering too if this can be used when purchasing your tickets online at Universal's site? If so, is there a code? Thanks in advance!

go to the universal website, find the mc logo and click on it.
this is how you linked into it before the website was changed. i have not tried to access it this year yet. bought my tickets months back and don't need anymore


the universal mc gives you additional points when you use it at universal.


any mc gives you the same deal as the univ one, such as specials in the past, use your mc and get an extra night free or last years special, use your mc and buy 4 2 day tickets and get a 5th one free......

remember:
these were specials last year when you used your mc.
do not know what specials are good this year w/ the mc.
