any disadvantages to booking through Cheaptickets?

I have AKL CL booked through Disney right now for one night post-cruise in December. Is there anything i should keep in mind if i book it through Cheaptickets? I have never used this site, so i want to make sure i am not forgetting anything. It would save about $70 which may not be a lot, but i am paying for the cruise for friends, so any savings is nice! would we still get the magic bands?

That's not accurate.

OP - you can still link your reservation to MDE and customize your bands like you would any other reservation. You often have to call Cheap Tickets and get the Disney reservation number though.

If you have previous magic bands they should still be on your MDE account and you could also use those.

We use Orbitz quite a lot for Disney trips now (I believe Orbitz owns CT?). Anyway, yes, everything is easy to link to MDE account and you can customize your MB's and you may also need to change the shipping address (it might default to CT's address).

Have you priced your trip out on Orbitz too? Last I knew, Orbitz gives the Disney discount, plus an additional Orbitz discount on top of that. And if you have kids, don't include them when you book online because the Orbitz system erroneously charges extra. Book the adults and then call Orbitz to add the kids (for free).
