Both walmart.com and amazon.com are offering it for $39.5X. Amazon has no tax most places. Free shipping if you have amazon prime. Thats the best price Ive seen this week. Doesnt come close to the walmart price error from a couple of weeks ago.I guess I missed the deal at Walmart last weekAny one know of any other deals on the Epic Mickey game? DD really wants this and I'd love to surprise her with it. Thanks
I see that your DD is 7. Is she used to playing adventure type games? I hope you considered that before you buy it. It's a pretty dark game and I wouldn't recommend it for beginner gamers. I've been playing the game and it's actually kind of creepy. I don't recommend it for children under 8 because it's got some really dark themes and the music is pretty unnerving. Unless she's used to playing dark games or RPGs, I don't think it's an appropriate gift for a 7 yr old. JMO.
I totally disagree. It is rated E-everyone. My DD7 will be getting/playing this and I have NO reservations about it. No it's not sunshine and lollipops, but inappropriate??? I wouldn't og anywher NEAR that far, and i HAVE played the game. Do you have a child, or are you basing this on what you THINK is ok for a 7 year old becuase i just cannot see a problem here. If anything I think that the ESRB is TOO strict in thier ratings. I have seen many games rated 10+ that really don't need to be.I see that your DD is 7. Is she used to playing adventure type games? Yes, she's been playing Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter with her dad for about 3 years now. She has also seen all of the movies numerous times. Thanks for your concern though, a lot of people don't pay attention to game ratings![]()
not trying to argue at all, I just wanted anyone who would readit to know that I have a child that age, have played the game, and wouldn't hesitate to let DD play it.didn't mean to start an arguementwas just looking for a deal on a present for my dd. Sorry

it's a great game. Like I said, not sunshine and lollipops by any stretch, but not disturbingly dark. My DD plays the lego games too, and I think this one is a little tougher gameplay than those, but still doable for a 7 year old with some patience. There will definitely be a learning curve there for my DD. My DD is very excited to play it as well. I got the $34 deal at wal-mart that came with the remote. I have played a couple of times with a friend (childless) who got it when it came out.My DD goes nuts every time she sees the commercial and talks about it non-stop. I told her she probably wouldn't get it for christmas but I was really hoping I could make it happen. Thanks for your input. I know she's going to love it!
