Any Construction at Vero Beach

I will be at Vero DVC March 29. Has anyone been there lately and seen any
construction going on in the lot just south of Vero DVC that Disney sold last year? Just wondered if we were going to be treated to construction noise, cranes etc. Any information from anyone who has been there recently would be appreciated. Thanks.

We just got back and there was no construction at/near the resort.

HOWEVER, there was road construction on Highway 1 coming from 512. We are going back this weekend and will try going straight down 510 to avoid it.

We just left ... less than a week ago.

The resort is beautiful - no construction.

Thanks for the update on conditions at Vero. Here is a link to the planned resort on the empty lot next to DVC Vero that will be built on the lot Disney sold last year. I like the part about the amenities of Disney's Vero Beach just steps away? Resturants are fair game, but would they be able to use the other resort facilities?

Just looked at the plans! Very nice and boy the ones I looked at were big(3000+ sqft).

Might be a lot of curiosity seekers going in both directioons for awhile. If the resort next door does not have a restaurant there might be more people in the DVC Vero restaurants and the Green Cabin Room. Right now I am guessing that not too many people walk into Disney and there is not much parking.
