We love concierge - but I think the value you get really depends on making use of what they have to offer. My advice:
1) Definitely take advantage of being able to send in your booking requests ahead of time - I think it's the 130 day mark now? But do be prepared that for the Wish, with so many concierge cabins, a cabana is far from guaranteed. Still, it's nice to have someone go through and secure any reservations you want in one fell swoop. They should be able to provide a list of things like the tastings ahead of time, just make sure you email a few weeks before your window opens up in case they're delayed in responding.
2) Similarly, you can also take advantage of the shoreside concierge team to request a certain dining rotation, if that matters to you (for instance, if you want to do a night at one of the adult dining restaurants, and want it to line up with pirate night or your night at a particular dining room)
3) Take advantage of 'line-skipping' benefits -- get to the port for the earliest arrival time, disembark when concierge can express take you off the ship, utilize them to get early access to the theaters.
4) It looks like the Wish has a special concierge room service menu so I'm excited to check that out! And they do have happy hour from 5-10 every day with beer/wine/cocktails so make use of that if you enjoy such things. Check out the lounge at different times of day to experience the different menus (the late afternoon 'tea' selection is usually my favorite).
5) Get to know the concierge staff! Not just the hosts but also the people serving food, the bartender, etc. I haven't sailed the Wish yet, that lounge looks huge so I imagine there are a few more people staffing it than on the other ships, but this really the part of concierge I love most -- walking in and having someone remember you, get to know your preferences, etc. They aren't mind readers though so you have to engage in order to get that personalized service.
I hope you and your family have an amazing time!
