We are staying at the BWV Sept. 21-28. I'm very excited and can't wait until September. I'm a school teacher, and I used to fuss when kids missed school to go on vacation. Now that my son is three, I understand why sometimes you have to do what you have to do. I have been to WDW in June, and I did not want his first trip to Disney to be miserably hot! I broke the news to my Principal just before we signed contracts and was well prepared to not sign the contract if she told me no! Isn't that crazy?

Anyway, just wanted to hear your comments on BWV.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom 4 yrs ago. We absolutely loved it! BWV would have been my first choice for this last trip, but DS is 4 now, so we would have had to get the 2 bedroom this time (5 people in all.) Wasn't able to find any available 2 bedrooms with a discount.
The location of BWV is fabulous! Walk/ boat to Epcot and MGM. Bus ride to other parks not too long. Neither is the ride to DD. Overall, the resort is very centrally located. The entertainment on the boardwalk is great in the evenings. That will be a big plus in Sept when the parks close earlier. My DD was 5 at the time. She insisted we do the surrey rental, which was quite fun. In addition to all the restaurant choices on the Boardwalk, you're just a short stroll from YC/BC and their restaurants. Our room was standard view and we were able to see some of the Epcot fireworks every evening. It was so nice to have DD in her pjs out on the balcony watching the fireworks. When they were over, she just walked inside and laid down! Can't get much simpler than that!
I think you will be very happy with this resort. Having the full kitchen, washer/dryer and jacuzzi are just icing on the cake!;)

Allierad, I love the BWV. It is such a great resort with lots of things going on. I have stayed in two-bedroom villas and studios there many times and have enjoyed each of those accommodations. Make sure to check out the Dis' DVC Board to get the real scoop on the place. Have a wonderful vacation!

We have stayed there several times and love it. You can't beat the location. We leave friday to stay there again for a week. can hardly wait.

hi: we're dvc members with bwv as our "home" resort. as already said, the location is wonderful. if you want to check out some pics of the various size villas, here's a link to the official site www.dvcmagic.com or you can look at www.ourlaughingplace.com the studios are about 360 s/f, 1brs are a touch over 700 s/f, 2 brs are a bit over 1000 s/f. having a fridge, microwave, and in the 1br and larger a washer/dryer are wonderful. just eating breakfast in the room saves a ton of money. have a wonderful trip!

BWV is the BEST resort on WDW property. Of course I am very biased since I am a DVC member and BWV is my home resort! :D

BWV is our home away from home...We didn’t think twice about purchasing our DVC points there! We have stayed in a studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom at the resort and our family cant say enough good things about the rooms and overall atmosphere at BWV's, the moment we step into the lobby our normal state of mind disappears and we fall into the dream world only Disney could produce. The resort and surrounding areas within walking distance make the BWV's tops on our list for all ages!!

I'm glad to hear nice things about the Boardwalk villas as it's a resort I'm considering for our next trip! I've got small kids and convenience is very important!

The location can't be beat. I LOVE having the washer and dryer in the room--we can pack light and come home with mostly clean clothes.

We love having the room to spread out. It's nice to have places to sit in the room other than the bed or an uncomfortable chair.

The soaking tub in the master bath is great after a long day at the parks.

The pool is great, DS likes the CLown pool no matter how crowded it gets, we generally tend to gravitate towards the quiet pool in busy times.

One of the best things though, is that as DS is getting older, when he turns 18 we won't have to pay the additional adult fee to take him with us like we would if we were staying on cash in a room!

Nothing but cool decorations, washer/dryer in the room as well as a full kitchen. The ferry is right there to take you almost anywhere. Not to mention the Boardwalk with all those terrible shops with terrible food.

I would never go back there. Well maybe 4 or 5 more times just to make sure it remains terrible.

;)

We have stayed at BWV twice and really enjoyed the resort. It is convenient to everything we like best about WDW except Dumbo. The evening entertainment is great, and its a short crawl "home" from Jellyrolls!!!!
