Any Coach experts out there?

DD is looking at a few Coach items on ebay. I'm not sure if they are authentic, even though they say they are Any tips or would someone mind checking an auction or two for her?
Since it is her own money, I'm not sure if I should let her bid without at least checking them out.

when I bought my coach, I had to regiester it. there is a authenticity stamp on the inside pocket with an ID number

I have many Coachs. They are great bags.

I don't think you can "tell" by a photo(s). You really need to hold them, feel the quality of the leather and examine the inside.

I agree with the above. You'll only know if it's real when you go to register the serial # inside the purse.

Look closely at the comments and check the background on the seller. Most of the people selling the "real" ones will state that. If they aren't real, they probably won't say they are.

Have you considered the outlet stores? In the Poconos the Coach store is about 1/3 off regular stoes.

I wonder if Sam knows about that? I wonder how much a good coach is going for these days? I really need to investigate this.

I imagine a decent amount of decay has gone on with that Coach, Cliffy..I would prefer not to feel that leather......

If I were her, I would assume that it is a fake. The only way to know that it is real is to buy it from a retail store that sells Coach.

I have bought 2 Coach bags from Ebay; I only buy from sellers who guarantee authenticity and I register the serial number as soon as I get the bag. I've not had any problems yet, everything's checked out and been in fantastic shape.

Many of the sellers are just re-selling things from the Factory Stores.
