Any character magic?

Has any character magic happened to you? Have you been chosen as family of the day? Or rode on a ride with a character? Any special interaction with one? Love hearing these kind of stories!

We went there with my parents yesterday, during FoF parade my mom got to shake Chip's hand and the Mermaid seemed to blow a kiss to my dad. Also we kept running into Winnie and Tigger and they waved to all of us .

I remember making Marie feel bashful (And might have developed a crush on me) when I first meet her at the Magic Kingdom during my Senior Trip in May 2015.

My favorite was when I took my dgd, then 7, and my niece, 11, to see Anna and Elsa. It was my niece's first trip and she was thinking she might be too old to like Disney. (I, of course, knew better.) My gd was so excited, but my niece, being shy and a bit of a tomboy, was standing over to the side watching. Anna ran right over to her and gave her a giant princess hug and engaged her in the whole process. I am sure it was that moment that dn started believing in the magic.

The Mad Hatter put a booger on dgd once....she has never forgiven him.

And personally, I had a princess moment with Cinderella during the Electric Light Parade at the 24 hour event last year.

Character magic isn't always the big things like riding a ride with them. There is magic in the small personal interactions, too.

During my first Walt Disney World trip my mom and aunt decided to have a girls day out at Disney Hollywood Studios back when it was known as Disney Studios Florida and my mom and aunt decided to see the Beauty And The Beast stage show and my aunt fell in love with it but according to my mom Gaston kept looking at my aunt and my aunt was just enjoying the show with Mom but after the show the cast members invited my mom and aunt to meet Gaston and The Beast for an autograph session which my mom and aunt declined because they didn't have autograph books and had to go pick me my dad and cousin up at the hotel because we were taking a break. But the second thing that happened to me on that trip was when we were at a character breakfast and Meeko was at our table and I had gotten my autograph of Meeko when just before he left he decided to brush my hair and braid it for me and it was so sweet and he was really gentle and didn't yank my hair but it was so darling and I can say Meeko had a gentle heart for me and that was the best magic

When was the park called Disney Studios Florida?

And I'm quite impressed that a character could braid hair with gloves on. I sometimes struggle without gloves. Brushing and braiding hair in a restaurant seems rather sketchy so.
