We go the beginning of October so the DHS Frozen will be over, think there is any chance it will do so well they will extend it?

There's a chance, but I think it's pretty small personally.

The entertainment CMs have been told no (although I have no idea if that's official or unofficial) Disney needs those performers for MNSSHP and MVMCP - I think even the parade floats too...? But that doesn't mean they won't change their mind, that's just the current situation.

Exactly. They need the performers for their other fall events. Seems like it would be tough logistically to continue running this event, but you never know.

If you forced me to choose one way or the other... I'd say they won't.

They've set it up as "Summer" fun... and from what I'm told logistically it isn't practical... I do wonder whether Frozen may feature in MVMCP in some way though, especially now they have Kristoff.

All 3 character "experts" I've asked have firmly said NO. Disney will focus on the holidays, BUT otoh it has been such a success that everyone is speculating. It wouldn't be the first time a temporary thing became permanent....and there is Frozen 2 in 2016.....but it might make more sense for them to change Maelstrom/Norway for a more permanent solution.

I'd also venture to say WDW won't want this as competion against the holiday hard ticket events. If I had a family of four on a limited budget and was trying to decide if wanted to attend MNSSHP at the cost of $275(ish), but also had the choice of simply adding another day onto our tickets for maybe $50 - I would think about the switch. Both events have a special parade, fireworks, a show, and specialized food and merchandise. I know it's comparing apples to oranges, but I doubt Disney wants people to have that option.

I totally agree. They could just end up cannibalizing their party business, pulling in the same net dollars but having overhead for events in 2 parks.

I think you're probably right. Hollywood has the Light Festival, too, and continuing with Frozen would compete with that.

Mesaboy normally I like your replies and even agree with them (almost always) ....today not so much!

We're not going again until January and I know it is unlikely they'd still have it going - I'd like to believe they might!

The floats in the Frozen Processional are MVMCP floats. The sleigh is also from MVMCP. Kenny the Pirate's prediction is that the floats will remain as is and carry Frozen characters in MVMCP.

The cast for MNSSHP was already chosen before Frozen was even developed and the CMs have to move on to that event and its shows and parade. The parade and show CMs work year round and when they move to the hard-ticketed events, seasonal and other CMs fill in where needed.

That makes sense, I didn't think of that

My best case scenario guess is that they might continue an abbreviated version of it. Maybe the parade and the sing a long? No chance at the fireworks continuing which is what I really want to see.

We seen and e n Norway before the movie wow wait a wait! Girls love it though great area for it but not enough room! But if they could add a rea n Norway for them be totally worth it for Disney!

They moved from there months ago, likely never to return.

They would basically have to tear down most of the Norway pavilion to have enough room for a queue for A&E. There's basically zero chance of that happening.

I heard from an entertainment CM today that the frozen events will possibly be extended through November... Anyone else hear that? I asked if it was "official" and they said the entertainment CMs "just know." I was honestly hoping to avoid it in October.
