Any Canadians have a Disney vacation booked for 2021? If so, when are you planning on going?

Just wondering if anyone has a vacation booked in 2021? We really want to book a vacation for something to look forward to!

We moved our August trip to April. We switched our condo dates but we have not re-booked the flights yet. Won’t be doing that until we know if it will be okay to go then, so honestly likely not officially re-booking until sometime after Christmas.

3 Disney cruises booked for 2021 (2 of them to replace the two that were cancelled this year, the third was already booked pre Covid). Not hopeful about the first one (end of March) but keeping optimistic for the Aug and Nov 2021 cruises.

I don't have anything booked, but I'd like to try to book something for end of October or start of November 2021. As long as they have a vaccine by then - which seems quite likely based on the current MHO's predictions of spring. And as long as everything is up and running - I don't want to pay for half the experience.

Nothing booked, but I am open to the idea if things improve. I don't really plan to go until 2022 or 2023 because I don't think it will be the same experience, and safe, and all of that, but oh I would love to book and plan something for 2021.

I think I'm in a down phase, sometimes I'm ok with all the restrictions and "covidness" of life, but then sometimes I get very down on it all and just wish for life to be normal again, that's where I'm at so I want to book a trip and be able to live life normally. I do not want to go to Disney and not be able to enjoy a full experience though.

I almost started the exact same post today . I accept this as the new reality 90% of the time but every once in awhile it really drags me down for a day or two .

I moved our August 2020 trip to August 2021. I paid everything with Disney gift cards so figured might as well transfer the fully-paid balance to next year. At least that way I wasn't getting it back in CND on gift cards, just to have to change it back to USD.
We are supposed to be there now, it hurts! lol

But I get a little stomach sick everytime I read people who say that next year will be nuts and so crowded. Sigh

Same, and I’d just really like to book something in 2021 so there’s something to look forward for but unsure how far we should book... :(

May but who knows cancelled August supposed to be there now , pretty much cancelled Christmas ( our dvc stay anyways) and we are now booked over Victoria Day weekend. Just dvc and park passes booked no flights yet.. we will see I’m feeling pretty much giving up on most things today

Having a Disney trip booked is usually something to look forward to, but with all the uncertainty and possibilities of resort reservations being moved it doesn’t seem worth the hassle. So, nothing booked for next year. I’d only book if there was some great discount, otherwise I don’t see the point.

We don't have anything booked yet but if things are safe, we will probably plan either Aug 2021 or Dec 2021. DS's school has a really long Winter break so we can finally get to see Christmas at DL. My mom's birthday is Dec 8 and I won't leave her alone for either that or Christmas Day and I never was never brave enough to go the week between Christmas and New Years! If DS's school has a similar schedule next year, he should be out from Dec. 11-Jan 4 which would allow us to go the 3rd week of December.

We had been planning a disney/Universal trip for the youngest's graduation gift in 2021. So right now, we are in a wait and see what happens mode. So we will keep collecting points and AirMiles, like we are going. It is just such a gong show down there right now, I sure hope that they can get their situation cleaned up on a bunch of different platforms ( virus, political mess, rioting and safety ) We were not planning to do a trip until late fall anyways, so they have a little over 12 months to get their act together, for us to feel safe to travel there.

I think my hope for a trip is why I keep collecting points... by the time I'm able to go somewhere I'll have so many!!

Current booked at Aulani for Xmas and for a week over the February holiday, but pretty sure we will wind up cancelling. Will be booking a May trip to Disneyland as soon as my 7 month DVC booking window opens next week for VGC, but again, we are prepared to cancel if need be.

We are hoping to reschedule the trip we are supposed to be on right now to Aug 2021, but I'm waiting before booking anything.

We are currently booked for January 2021 (booked in early March before everything shut down). 99% sure we will be canceling, but I haven't actually done so yet. I am hopeful that our flight will be cancelled which will increase my chances of getting a refund rather than a credit.

I would like to reschedule but not sure what is realistic.

I am in the same situation, our trips are October and December of this year but for disneyland. We paid with gift cards as well so I am thinking of just keeping the tickets since the dollar value doesn't expire and then trying to move out flights out for the following year for 2021. I haven't cancelled the flights yet because we won't get any cash back anyways so really there is not a rush.
