We moved to California last year, and love being within driving distance to Disneyland. We're heading back to WDW for our Christmas trip and I'm wondering...are there any other California disers heading to Florida this December?

We'll be there Dec. 3rd - 11th and then hoping on the Dream for four days. We have DVC so it is a great usuage of points. I can't wait to see all the decorations and feel the spirit of the season.

Not for the last 2 years. We truly miss the holidays at WDW (totally a different experience in the world) but our extended family cannot afford to fly out to FL so we have been doing the local AP thing @ Disneyland & staying @ VGC! This is the only time we can share the "magic" with them! We are DVCers with BCV & VGC. We are shooting for WDW in 2012 or 2013 with just the 4 of us once again!

We are hopeing to be in WDW from 8th of Dec to 16th of Dec this year, with a drop in at DL from the 16th of Dec till the 21st of Dec before heading home. Hopefully we will book our flights this week. Can't wait for all the christmas decos!:cool1:

We're headed there from 12/8 - 12/18. We've never seen WDW at Christmas time ~ I can hardly wait! :yay:

Ooo, I'm jealous you're going on the Dream! We did a Wonder cruise as part of our Christmas trip in 2007 and it was wonderful :boat:
We'll miss you by 4 days, we arrive on Dec 15th.

Wow, I thought my flight was long! Christmas deco in both WDW and DL are fabulous.

Woo hoo! We'll be there the last few days of your trip :)
Just upgraded to the Premier Pass to cover our Christmas trip and avoid the price increase :thumbsup2

We love VGC! And I hear you on missing the holidays at WDW ::yes::

We weren't able to go in 2009 because our move to Cali was scheduled Dec 28th so we had to get the house packed up. Last year we went just in time to see the holiday decorations. This year is our first full year back and we'll be glad to be at our VWL home :goodvibes

Hi... I'm going to move this to the DL Community Board since this isn't a DL planning thread. :)

We just did the same. Our Premier's expired on 6/3, so initially we renewed to the Premium's and figured we'd upgrade to the Premier again closer to our trip. Then the next week I found out about the price increase so we ran over to upgrade. I'm glad I didn't already spend that money on our plane tickets like I was planning to. lol But hey, we saved $100 by upgrading them now.

I was there last year during the Christmas season at WDW and I will be there again at WDW on Dec. 9 - 16. Can't wait to see the Holiday decorations at WDW.

Good thing I renewed my Premier AP a couple of weeks ago before the price went up. I saved a lot of money by upgrading to the Premier last year.
