Any April 2008 Dis'ers out there?

We'll be at RPR at US from 9-12 and then it's Wilderness Lodge 12-18!!!!

I can't even begin to tell you all how excited I am!!!!! I'm going to be doing this dance ---> for the next 5 months!!!

I had originally booked my trip for April 15-21, then I got a pin code for 30% off regular room rates. I already had the 15% AAA discount, so the pin code would be an extra $100 savings. At this point the difference in airfare would eat up the pin code savings. However, the SWA rates have not come out yet, so I could possibly get a good rate from them for this time.

At this point, I have 2 reservations. How are the crowds during this time? I am going alone with my DS(3) and I think that we will have a blast whenever we go. Are the crowds really bad in April? How is the weather?

I would like to know too. I've only been there in July and it was hot and crowded. I'm going with my DS4 and we plan on having a blast. We'll be there from April 29 - May 7.

We will also be there in April - the 13th thru the 20th. The 13th thru the 16th at POP (first time there - hope we like it). Then 16th thru the 20th at the YC (I have a conference). We don't usually stay at a deluxe resort (too expensive) so we are all 3 very excited about the YC!! Can't wait!

You will love the YC. If you can try to get to the pool. It's fabulous. A little scary for me as I can't swim but I still enjoyed it. Even went down the slide for the first time in my life. Took me 42 years of courage but I did it and several times at that.

We are going 4/16 - 4/24 staying at the GF. Can't wait.

We're booked for Port Orleans Riverside. Can't wait to get back there. Does anyone think discounts will come our way for the last week or so of April? I sure hope so. 2 years ago we got ticket upgrades for free and that was good. Hopefully we are able to get at least that this time as well. We're doing DDP and have all of our reservations booked. April can't come soon enough for us.

If you are driving all the way down the drinks are on me !!!! What part of N.Y. are you from? I live on Long Island near Jones Beach. I know the flights are crazy expensive that week so driving is a great option. We took Amtrack once and ever since then the only way to go for us is to fly (The train broke down in Washington, The dining car went on fire in Georgia, and we had to stop in North Florida for about 4 hours for some reason--its puts a bad taste in your mouth for the taking the train:

I'm curious too. I've been in May but never April. I'm wondering how bad the crowds are before I decide if I can manage the 2 kiddies on my own. Thinking of April 23-26.
