Any apps for Canadians? o get through MCO security quicker ?

I know the Clear and Reserve apps have been mentioned but it looks to be only for US citizens (at least the Clear app is; too early for me to try to enter the dates the MCO Reserve page to see whether it would work for us). Has anyone had success with any similar apps that works for Canadians?

Nexus currently has a backlog of 380,000 applicants in Canada and no interviews are currently being done. So the backlog will continue to grow.

Oh… it must have changed since March. I was able to book weeks out and it didn’t ask for a zip code or anything. That’s a bummer because it was so effective !

We scheduled my daughter for an interview that was 4 weeks out in Detroit. We had it easier to get to the interview stage as it is just a renewal. Not sure how long it takes to get approved from scratch to then proceed with scheduling the interview.

How does it work?

Basically, it is a fastpass. There are signs for the line and you just follow those signs. There is nothing different except that you don't need to wait in the normal line.

Tried to select my date and the arrival city but our airline (Air Canada) is not selectable as an option. Only Westjet is listed. Are online certain airlines set up for this?

Does your flight have a United number as well? Maybe that would work.

That’s RESERVE (only at MCO, open to all) not CLEAR (US wide, only for US citizens/residents (not totally sure))

That's crazy! When my husband went with the kids for their renewal interview on June 29th at Champlain, NY there was NO ONE at the Nexus office. Only one American and one Canadian agent waiting. He even arrived 30 minutes early, expecting to wait for the kids appointment time but since no one was there, they processed the renewal as soon as he arrived and he was done 15 minutes later. The longest wait was waiting for me to send him a photo of a handwritten message allowing my kids to join Nexus since I wasn't there in person.
