Any Alamo coupons?

We're going in December and I'm just wondering if anyone has any extra coupons they're not using from the entertainment book.

I have 4 Entertainment books and haven't used any of them. So I have all of them.

For weekends:

1. up to $20 per rental ($5 per day min two days) - midsize through SUV
2. One free upgrade - compact through midsize 4-door
3. $15.00 off - min 3 day - any car

Longer rentals

1. $25 off - min 3 day - pickup on Sun-Tues - only convertible, minivan or SUV
2. One free day - min 5 day - midsize through fullsize 4-door

I don't think these are very good except for the free day.

In fact, the $25 coupons are quite good as far as I am concerned.
For some reasons, by entering the code, I got extra discount, I think it was about $40 to $45 total discount. For my coming rental, renting a SUV is cheaper than renting an intermediate.

One way would be for you to send OP the quotes to see which one works better.

Actually, if you are a costco member, get on the costco.com website and you can book on-line with Alamo.com. You get the 25% discount for being a costco member and an additional $25 for one week rental. For example, our December trip from 12/3 to 12/12 cost $241.81 for a standard SUV. Probably cheaper if you pick up from CCC or Dolphin Hotel. I think you need to print the $25 off coupon from the website and bring it with you.

Do you have to p/u and drop off at MCO with the Costco deal?

Not with the Costco deal. You can pick-up and drop off at different locations. So it should be cheaper to pick-up at CCC or Dolphin Hotel (you use DME to get to your resort) and then at end of vacation, drop off at MCO. No airport concession fee. Try the Costco website, you don't have to input Costco membership number. Maybe show Costco membership at the pick-up counter.

That's exactly what we do each time-since we stay at Epcot area resorts anyway it's easier and quicker for us to check in and then walk over and pick up our car!
