Hi everyone,

I don't go to AK often on our trips, but this March we will be doing a half day on our arrival day. Since I'm expecting heat and crowds, what better way to pass the time then by eating and drinking!

Just wondering if there are any yummy snacks/drinks that AK offers that are not available at other parks. Like the MK has dole whips :cloud9:, that sort of thing.

TIA! :cutie:

If you like alcohol, there's the Yak Attack. It's very yummy. There is a window along side the Yak and Yeti CS place. That's where I get it.

For snacks our favorite is the white chocolate elephant cupcake. It is a chocolate cupcake with carmel coconut frosting and a white chocolate elepahnt sucker on top--cute and way yummy!

The tea (hot or cold) from the Andapur (sp?) Tea shop across from Yak & Yeti is awesome!

Why, yes I do like alcohol! What is in it? Is it frozen or "on the rocks"?

I asked the guy who served it to me and he said it had mango daiquiri, Bacardi light rum, and wildberry mix. But he didn't say how much of each. It is a frozen drink. Of course I have a picture:

Yum! Where would I find this?

Yum again!

I like the egg rolls from the egg roll cart in Asia. I haven't seen egg rolls anywhere else in WDW (but I'm sure I could be mistaken!)

I am SO getting a Yak Attack next month!

Restaurantosaurus has a delicious shrimp po boy that I haven't seen anywhere else.

Also there is a bakery cart that serves a wonderful little crumb cake, again, something I haven't seen elsewhere.

Someone mentioned egg rolls and there is indeed another egg roll cart at the MK in Adventureland. For "fast food" the egg rolls have been dang tasty if I do say so myself. LOL

After seeing the "Yak Attack", I headed over to Deb's site to check out the menus and all the drinks at the CS Yak n Yeti sound so yummy! I think I will add that to my list for sure! I didn't even realize there was a CS option for Yak-n-yeti. And I never thought that they served alcohol either, for some reason.

I've heard that the egg rolls at MK were actually really good so maybe I might not to have one of those as well - either at AK or MK - or both! ;)

Our must have snack at AK is the jalapeno cheese filled giant pretzel. It is big enough to share and so yummy.

That sounds delicious. Where can I find that?

Disneyfoodblog has a photo of the elephant cupcake and says it's available at the Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery (article is dated March 2010). Definitely have to check that out on our next trip. Sounds yummy!

I love those pretzels! Dh and I always say we'll split one then we have to go back and get another one to split!

Yak and Yeti's cs place used to have this mango pie thing I loved. I didn't see it on the allears menu, I hope they still have it. Its sort of a key lime pie type thing.
