Hi all!:flower3:
I book my ADR's in less than a month and I was wondering what you all thought of what I have planned and if there are any suggestions.

Monday June 4th - Coral Reef
Tuesday June 5th - (family splitting up) Fantasmic Dinner Package@
1. Mama Melroses
2. Brown Derby
Thursday June 7th - Ohana (breakfast)
Friday June 8th -
1. Artist Point @7:30p
Saturday June 9th -
1. Garden View Tea
2. Ohana (dinner)
Sunday June 10th - Biergarten?
Monday June 11th - Via Napoli
Tuesday June 12th - Chef Mickey's (breakfast)

Thanks!!

Looks like you have a lot of great meals headed your way! A few things...
1) I love Coral Reef, but most people don't. Don't give in to their griping though, the atmosphere is unbeatable
2) The Fantasmic dinner package IS a set price of about $55/person (for Derby at least). When I booked I was under the impression that it was no additional cost. Just be aware, but if you want to see the show the package is the way to do it.
3) RE Biergarten and Napoli: I've heard Biergarten is good. However, I think you can find some other Epcot table service restaurants that might be better than Napoli. I'm thinking Teppan Edo in particular- good food and fun experience. Other than that, Akershus is another good place.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. May I ask why you don't like Via Napoli. I have heard really good things about it.

I would not do Ohana twice for breakfast and dinner. Keep the dinner but find another breakfast - we did not like the family style serving and the food choices were minimal. It was just Mickey waffles, bacon, biscuits, eggs and sausage which was really gross - not your standard breakfast sausage. If you want a character breakfast, I think the buffets have more options. But since you're already doing a Chef Mickey's breakfast, you may want to try Kona at Poly for breakfast. Different breakfast options than the standard choices.

We liked Via Napoli and I would say to keep it. Only downside to it was that the pizza is very much like any other brick oven/coal fired pizza you could get anywhere but double the price. We didn't mind though since we were on the dining plan.

About Ohana for breakfast, honestly I really don't want to eat there but my dad loves Stitch and wants to eat there for that reason. Is there anywhere else besides the parks that have a stitch interaction?

We really enjoyed Via Napoli!! The pizza was really good. In fact, when we go back, we would love to eat there again!!

We did Ohana for breakfast for the first time on this this trip and loved it. If you like scrambled eggs they had the best ones I've ever had on property. We all thought they were really good. And the bread and juice they bring is really good too. I thought it was nice not to have to get up and go to a buffet line.

Outside of the parks, I don't think so. There was a Stitch meet and greet at DHS.

We found the scrambled eggs and all of the rest of the food (except the sausage) to be the exact same at Tusker House and at the food courts at POR and POFQ :confused3 We didn't find any variety in any of the breakfasts we did actually. I would think any food that's used at multiple restaurants would be mass ordered from the same place so I'm not sure how much variety there could be.

We also liked the juice, which incidentally is the same juice they served at Tusker House that they call Jungle Juice

We remembered the juice from TH as well. We did TH a few years ago and really enjoyed the food there also. But I thought the eggs at Ohana tasted much more fresh than what you typically get off the buffets on property. I asked the waitress and she said they hear that a lot.

Try Biergarten! You will enjoy the atmosphere and the food isnt too bad either!

Thanks for all the help. I think I have convinced my dad to not go to ohana for breakfast and do the character meet at animal kingdom instead now I have an opening for that day and no idea where to go. Any suggestions for maybe a 1ts meal at a resort?
