We were leaning toward WL, but when I called, I was given an offer for BWI, so either place would be about the same price. We have a 9 yr old and a 7 yr old. The atmosphere of WL is appealing, but the location of BWI is, too.

We can't wait -- two and a half months to go! :yay:

Thanks!

We bought into the DVC, Boardwalk Villas, sight unseen. It is a great area to stay for us because we love being able to walk to Epcot and MGM. It's all about a great location, and a nice resort, too. Only thing that might be better is a deluxe on the monorail.

Welcome to the dis I just saw you are new and this is very first post so here are formal dis welcome :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: anyway so here is your answer :thumbsup2 I really enjoy bw here are a few things to consider are you going to use the pool if so are your kids afraid of clowns:confused3 because there is a clown pool if they are not i would deffinately book bw but since there is a clown pool it not always as romantic but they also have larger rooms and you would have a day bed:cool1: also would have location of epcot and the boardwalk :yay: with all the restraunts the larger rooms if i were you i would book the boardwalk in 10 secs if you would like more info you can pm me you may want to have a family meeting to make the final decision good luck on the decisions you make

Love the Boardwalk and the area. WL is very nice too, but very self-contained & the transportation is a little longer to the parks. That said, you can see the Electric Water Pagent, which my boys love.

Wl is our favorite resort.. but last summer we went to BWV and we were SOLD! You cant beat the location. Next yr. we are trying Beach Club which is right across the water from BW but if we cant get it for some reason.. we will be very happy to go back to boardwalk because of the location. No bus lines for 2 parks... ...:cool1: cant beat that.

When we were pricing our trip, we checked Poly, BW & WL Poly & BE were the same price, but WL was substantially less. If you got BW for the same price as WL, then that's a pretty good deal, so I'd go for it.

you should look into renting points... it will save you LOTS if you do it the right way.. (avoid staying on a fri and sat.) we fly in on fri... stay at Port Orleans or maby a value this time... till sunday then from sunday -friday rent points..

Thanks for the words of welcome and wisdom! I keep trying to remember that we can always go back to Disney and if we're not thrilled with one thing, we can do something differently next time. Having said that, this is my dream vacation and I want my husband and kids to love Disney as much as I do!
