Any Advance Info on new Disney Resorts?

Hi,

I'm not sure if anybody does know anything or any information about any new disney resorts, but if you do (even if it is just a small rumour) please share it here!!

It would be great to hear about any new developments WDW might be planning, or any changes they might be making to their current resorts.

I heard that they were changing the Disney Institute Treehouses to DVC Villa's and calling them Saratoga Springs. Don't know if this is news or not.

The Disney News and Rumors board is probably your best place to get that sort of info, but to answer your questions... It appears that until things totally bounce back at WDW all development has been put on hold. It's also reported that little or no new construction work is being done on Pop or the DI Villas.

I live in Saratoga Springs. About 2 months ago there was an article in our local paper about how Disney had just begun construstion of the Saratoga Springs Resort

I was talking to a nice bus driver this week, and asked him about Pop Century, and he told me that it is all ready, lights are all on, they are just waiting to see on attendance at other resorts before they start staffing PC.

I was on expedia the other day making reservations to stay this past weekend, and was offered a bungalow at the disney institute for $218. It appears that they are renting out some of the rooms there, as it used to always say "no rooms available at this resort", up until now. I check there frequently, so I knew this was a change from when they first closed it.
