I am toying with the idea of trying to book CRT for breakfast. I know this is traditionally a kids breakfast, but I'd love to try it (we are both big kids).

Any of you ever do this without kids?

Sure they do! A couple of trips back I did Cindy's as a party of 6 - all adults :)

Go and enjoy...like any WDW Character meal, you'll be made to feel welcome - whether you want to actively participate or just watch :)

We've never been to CRT, but we're going this Saturday, just 2 adults!

I'm sure we'll have a great time!

I did Cindy's for breakfast last trip with my girlfriend. I will be trying to do it again for my honeymoon. :)

Yep!! Did it last year for breakfast with just us 2 adults. Quite the noisy place to be but it was fun and if you look around at the architecture itself, the views, etc. it is quite beautiful!. In fact, guess who got so upset when Belle passed by our table that SOMEONE made the waiter go get her and bring her back. (I think I got a kick out of having my pictures taken with the characters more than some of the kids!!). You'll also find that the characters (I remember Snow White in particular) enjoy the break of having a somewhat adult "Disney" conversation when it was just the adults.

I say DO IT!! You'll be glad you did, even if you don't ever do it again!;)

My wife and I -- a couple 40-somethings with no kids -- had breakfast there in November, and loved it.

The characters were great, the food very good. My favorite part: the waiter in tights who came around and asked "More coffee, m'lord?" :jester:

Go and enjoy!

We went when our DD was a year old. She had no clue why we were so excited, oohing and aahing, but she liked her fruit. My DH and parents and I had a great time!

I've done lots of character meals without kids!

My husband and I enjoy character meals without kids. We haven't had the breakfast at CRT yet since we were never able to get in. But I plan to keep trying.

We really enjoyed the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot.

My boyfriend and I went last year and it was awsome!! It was so fun to start the day in the castle with the princesses! Also, it was my bf's birthday and we had just mentioned it to Mary Poppins. A few minutes later our waiter came over with a muffin with a candle and a signed birthday card from all the princesses!!! Then everyone sang happy birthday to him! It so much fun he didn't protest too much about getting up at 7:00am to call for our next trip!!! You should go, it's awesome!!!:D

DBF and myself are going to try and book it for our trip in October and we're both 33.

I know I am in the minority but DH and I did this alone and hated it. It was one of our worst meals ever. I loved the location and theming of the room but the food was awful and service was even worse. No characters came to our table (not sure if it was because we were adults only). As a side note, DH and I have done many character breakfasts without kids and LOVED them (Crystal Palace is our all time favorite, Chef Mickey's is a close second). Maybe we just caught them on an "off" day but we won't go back. I think it is very, very overated.... Sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear but don't let this review or anyone else's convince you not to try something. If I did not try some of the restaurants because of negative reviews I found here.... I would have missed out on some of my new favorites :p

My fiance and I did it. We liked it and it was a lot of fun getting our pictures taken with the princesses. (Actually I think that my fiance felt a little silly.)

I am glad that we did it, but I think that next time I would rather eat lunch or dinner at CRT. It was expensive for what we got, but it is something that you have to do once.

My mom & I have been going to WDW each year for several years (our "bonding" trips) and always do character meals. The food at CRT wasn't really worth the price but it is pretty exciting to be inside the castle. We've always found the characters to be just as accomodating with us as with children - if you get into the spirit of things you can have a lot of fun. One year Alice kept stopping by and wound up decorating us with Mickey Mouse glitter confetti. These meals usually produce the best pictures too.

I would guess that if you're even slightly interested in going that you'd be the type who would enjoy it! The great thing about Disney is that you do get to act like a kid, so make the most of it.

My wife and I have never gone by ourselves to any character meal because we're lucky to have Emily to provide cover.

HOWEVER,

I think it must be said that you are allowed to go to a character meal childless IF and ONLY IF you are NOT particularly MATURE.

If you're too mature, you cannot go.

Fortunately, this would NEVER stop me.

I hope it does not stop you.

Go, and enjoy.

My sister (34) dragged me (32) and my mom (54) to Cindy's last September. I confess, I wasn't too thrilled about spending $18 for breakfast. But when we got there, I got all giddy and excited like I was 8 again. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast...and we were in a prime location. We got to interact (and get pictures) with every princess that morning. It was a wonderful experience! ;)

Go!

DH and I went to the breakfast with another couple, and it was so much fun! The characters are very attentive, and no one looks twice about the fact that there are no kids with your party. Enjoy - since we all must be kids at heart to enjoy WDW time and again!

I did the Cinderella breakfast with 3 friends in February, all 40+, we had a wonderful time! The characters posed for pictures with us and we loved the food. We also did the dinner at GF, we didn't get as much interaction with the characters there.
