Any Adam Lambert fans?

My 19 year old nephew is in LA right now.....EMI hired him as a song writer/ producer to write songs for Adam Lambert!!! I am so proud of him!!!

We of course expect pictures and the daily scoop!!

This is great!!! I just saw Adam live last night on the Idol tour so I am in mega-Adam mode right now. I can tell you he completely overshadowed Kris. I felt bad for Kris actually, the crowd was totally wild for Adam, but much more subdued when Kris took the stage. I can't wait to see what else Adam does!!

Same thing here In Tampa back in July, and I am sure at every show across the country. Who knows how Kris really won - I mean he is ok...but can't hold a candle to Adam's talent or star power! The women were all screaming for him and they knew full well what his sexual preference is. We didn't care! That boy is HOT HOT HOOOOTTTTT!!! I will be buying that album as soon as its released too. Can't wait.

I did by her the 8x10 glossy photo of him for her closet door. I told her I'd buy it if she hung it in her room (pretty sure dh didn't want it in our room LOL).

Adam tweeted this morning that his album is dropping NOV 24TH! !

I will have to tell my mom. She is just so into Adam, I haven't seen anything like it. She will be 50 in January and she finally went to her 1st concert after I got her American Idol tickets this past summer. She was so happy! All she does is talk about Adam. She adores him and will be very excited to hear this news. Everyday when I stop by she will tell me something about Adam, she's always on his website and reading the cell casts.

Dd just bought his RS poster for her wall last weekend and our concert is tomorrow night. We are very excited.

I am very close to your mom's age and I too talk too much about Adam. I've been to concerts before, but long about the time grunge/rap/hip hop took over music, I fell out of love with music. It took Adam to get me back into it again.

Wow - a thread that combines my WDW addiction and my Adam adiction!!

Actually, I've been spending less time on the DIS since accidently seeing Adam on AI last winter - visiting the Adam websites for news takes a lot of time!

I went to the Rosemont concert last night - I sort of thought there wasn't any way he could live up to the hype when I saw him in person - Nope, he was AMAZING! His vocals were out of this world and his stage presense is fantastic.

I also feel bad for Kris - he is very talented, but having to follow Adam each night must be pretty tough. He got a nice welcome from the crowd, but nowhere near as loud as Adam's welcome (actually, even less loud than Danny Gokey's) but then the energy level really dropped.

I actually took on of my DIS friends (met here online, but lives near me) to the concert last night. She had never watched Idol and didn't know anything about the performers. Last night after she got home, she posted on facebook that she is now an Adam Lambert fan!

Thats the way I feel about Adam. No doubt that he won't make it big, but his music is not to my liking and I would never pay to see just Adam in a concert. I do wish him the best.

Hark did I hear someone say Adam Lambert?

I am completely awestruck by him. He has such an amazing voice and seems like such a nice guy. The funny thing is is that I had refused to watch Idol this past season until I was walking through the living room one night when my mom was watching and heard him sing. Now I am osessed.

I went to the concert in Cleveland ack on 8/23 and this was me during his set

I can not wait for his album, it's gonna be amazing.

My dh thinks my 'interest' in Adam Lambert is highly amusing. (He has shall we say benefitted from it, so should shut his trap.) Any whooo....

Our concert is tonight. Our as in dd and myself. This morning dh opens up a Netflix envelope and holds it up to me saying, "Here's a sign about your day." And the inside of the envelope is an ad for something with the headline, "ADAM."

So before he goes off to work, I remind him that dd and I won't be seeing him until about midnight or so. Conversation ensues:
Him: "I won't recognize you when you get back."
Me: "What? Why?"
Him: "Your hair will be all bushy and white."
Me: "What crack are you smoking?"
Him: "Your hair will be all white because like Moses, you'll have seen your god."

I think he finds it so funny because this is so TOTALLY not my normal personality.... I didn't even have crushes on celebrities when I really was 13! I totally skipped that stage - when all the other girls were obsessing over Donnie Osmand, Shawn Cassidy, Duran Duran and such, I just didn't get it at all (Yes, I think I just gave away my age - mid 40's )

Can't wait for the first single (maybe there will be 2 - one from his album and one for the 2012 song?) and the Album. I am so happy that he is excited about the album - there was a fox interview a couple days ago and when he starts talking about the album he just lights up
