Booked Jan 2009 ASMu. We are still thinking of moving up to Wilderness Lodge....But can anyone tell me if it is really worth the extra $$$$?

There are ups and downs for both resort....

Themeing is great for both resorts

The Wilderness shares the buses with the Campground
ASMu shares with the other All-Star resorts

Wilderness does not have a food court
ASMu only has a food court

Rooms are smaller at ASMu but unless you have a suite, its not that big of a size difference at Wilderness

Younger kids tend to like the ASMu, while older like the Wilderness (not always the case, just depends on personal preference!)

We are still in the talking stages, but would like to go in November '09 for 2 weeks. 2 weeks! I've never been on vacation longer than a week. Anyway, we would like it to just be me & DH for the 1st week and bring the DD's (who will be 18 & 20 at that time) down for the 2nd week. The only problem ~ I will miss my dog so much for 2 weeks

Maybe I should split up those 2 weeks......

I'm currently planning a surprise trip for myself and DW for the month of August 2009. Not certain days in August, the entire month! I'm going to be telling her that we're just not going to be able to make it next year but that we can plan for a small trip in 2010 if she wants. She works for a school division, so has both July and August completely off and I have very good flexibility at my work as well. Good thing she doesn't read this particular board!

Shir Khan, you are a wonderful hubby!!!!!!!

Taking with DH and we have decided to move up our trip to June 2009 and guess what....We are staying at the POLY!!!!! I am so excited!!!

Our girls get out of school the first week in June, so we talked with DH's mom, who is a teacher and that last week...the kids do not do anything...so we are just going to take them out and fly to Disney for a vacation!!! We thought that this was better than taking them out of school between Thanksgiving and Christmas....

Planning on first 2 weeks of Sept 2009 (or there abouts). This time will be a trip with friends and family. It will be fun to see it through the eyes of someone who hasn't been there.

Yep! We'll be there the second week of December and trying very hard to convince my parents to come with us. It's our favorite time to visit WDW!

Looking at Sept/Oct!!! Cant wait! It will be the first time traveling w/ babies! My Ds will be 2 1/2 & my unknown (due in Sept) will be 1!!!
