Any 10-16-04 cruisers yet?

Spoke to Disney today and they said my docs were sent yesterday, 9/16, via UPS 3 day service and I should have them by Monday for the 10/16 Magic! WaaaaHooooooooo!!!!!!

I just got my plane reservation from Disney, and called the airline for seat assignments. On one segment of our flight down to Orlando, the Delta service rep could not assign seats to us. She said the plane was pretty full, but she could guarantee that we would get our seat assignments when we get to the airport (Atlanta). She said all of the available seats are "singles" - she did not have two empty seats together.

This may present a problem as I do not want my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter sitting by herself. Neither will the filght attendents - can you imagine how much noise a scared little girl who has never flown before can make if Daddy isn't right next to her?

The service rep said that someone at the gate in Atlanta would shuffle people around so that my son would be able to sit next to his daughter. Wouldn't you think that Disney would tell the airlines the sizes of the parties flying so that everyone in the party could sit together? Out of the four flight segments, we are all sitting together on only one flight.

I am really looking forward to that bushwacker at Paradise Point!

tigerfantoo, the same thing happened to us on us air one time. And all the airline did was tell us when we got into the plane that we could ask other people to switch. No, they didn't try to help us. So just be prepared...........julebobo

Thanks for the coupon site...I'm gonna head there now and print a few off...these hurricanes are making me crazy. Sandy, how are you faring with the clean up? My Grandpa lives in the panhandle of Florida and he still doesn't have electricity from Ivan. I hope Jeanne doesn't hit Castaway Cay. Yup...need a drink...

Thea....before I forget, we changed the time of our Palo reservations from 6:30 to 7:30 (same night) because we didn't want to miss the Golden Mickeys. I know you weren't planning on the dinner with us but just in case you had changed your mind I wanted to let you know. We'll look for you Princesses at the port!

Please, please, please....tell my neurotic, has to have something to obsess about daughter that she will get to sit with her family on the plane. That somebody will switch with her if the need arises. This is all I have been hearing about for weeks now and.....bingo!....here is her biggest worry (for this month) right here on the board. (I was really hoping she didn't happen to read this ....but nooooo....Andrew has to pick this night to go to sleep at a normal hour therefore giving her some free time for the first time in a YEAR!) She's making me !

Alright....enough already! Is anyone else getting tired of these hurricanes? I wish they would just go away. I know we have a month to go but....

Does anyone know if we can buy our own wine to take on board? And how would you pack it? Carry on or in luggage? I guess if I can do it I can always wrap it in bubble wrap unless anyone else has a better idea. Looking for any suggestions...

Not fair! I can't print off the Buswwacker coupons. My printer died in the move and we haven't had time to get a new one yet.

Libby: COngrats on selling your home. It is a real load off your mind.

For our last journey to WDW, we didn't have 3 seats together, but they mad it happen. DOn't worry.

We may be going on a mystery cruise if the hurricanes keep up.

We have a small soft cooler. We put our bottles of wine in it and carry it on the ship. No problem.

I want my docs!!!!!!

OK when is the wine party? I just made our rasp reservations. And I don't want to miss a thing. When I was talking to Debbie from Disney today she told me there were 1,000 kids on this cruise. Can you beleive it With that many kids around I'm thinking I will be needing more than 1 wine drinking1 Well its getting really close now. I will talk to all you princess later.

I called to get last minute reservations to The Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway (EPCOT) and EVERY DAY from the 7th-16th is booked! Can you believe it? I called the DCL to see about Docs 'cause I STILL don't know our room # and I was told they're booked at capacity for kids in Mekayla's age group. Guess she has a chance to make a cruise friend or two... Wow!! Didn't I read in Passporters that October was the slow time of year for WDW?...Oh yeah, guess everyone else read that, too. Oh well. Family in Florida still doesn't have electricity from Ivan. Did you guys see Jeanne's predicted path? Man, I REALLY wanted to see Castway Cay.
My friends at work think Disney should develop the rest of the island and have a hotel, and maybe even vacation club member exclusive suites there...whatcha' think? If I don't get to see it this time...it'll definately be a few years before I can afford to go back...isn't there a mantra I can repeat to get some weather during our trip?
