I'm a hairstylist, so I'm going to recommend the more professional products.
Aveda
Their smooth infusion line is FANTASTIC. My hair is thick, but very wavy and frizzy, I've started using the shampoo and conditioner and LOVE it. Also, the style prep smoother and glossing straightener work together fantasically!
Moroccanoil line is excellent. The oil treatment makes your hair sooo smooth and manageable.
Macadamia nut oil also.
I use them both.
For people that DO have curlier hair, the moroccanoil line has some really great curl creams and a mousse.
The enjoy line is excellent as well. They have quite a few products to help keep frizz away. Smooth and Shine is one that comes to mind.
A leave in conditioner is never a bad idea either.
If you have extra frizzy hair, it's definitely best to stay away from anything volumizing.
