Antenna topper-Rotten Exchange, IMO

Got the van back yesterday after 4 days of body work from the 'minor' accident. DH even brought home cookies from the repair shop - Complimentary!

NOT!!!

That darn shop, someone there anyway, stole my Baseball Mickey topper! Didn't notice until Friday tho. I doubt anyone is gonna ADMIT to it after a whole day has passed.

Now I have to find another one. Not like I don't have Other Toppers but, it's baseball season NOW!

What a bummer!!! Is it the one that is a baseball with Mickey ears?? I'm swinging by DL all the time and I'm pretty sure I saw them there. I can pick one up and send it your way! I haven't been around the boards for awhile but hopefully Dan Murphy will vouch for me if you feel weird about PMing me your address.

Mr.MouseFan, I totally agree. A TRUE Disney lover would NEVER STEAL a topper from another Disney lover but rather, they would seek the topper out, like I did. It's an awful violation of the Disney trust we all know (and think and Love)!


btw, the van's body work/paint job is excellent!

Did you phone the shop? Maybe they realized the value of such an item and put the topper in their safe but some bonehead forgot to put it back on the Van!

Worth a try.

I know what it is like to have a Mickey Topper taken! It's like having a part of you taken too!

I don't know how I'd deal if one of my Mickey's were ever stolen. When Reindeer Mickey got stuck in the car wash, I made DH go back, slosh through the dirty water, and find it.

I collect the toppers, but will only use a plain black one on the car. I've had it for years, never had it lost or stolen, but if I do I've got about 6 or 7 more of them hanging around just in case, LOL

Sorry about losing your antenna topper!! I would hate for anyone too lose something that has to do with my two favorite things baseball and mickey

I found the topper on Ebay. I'll try there again. Also, diva of dragons in CA thinks she's seen them at Disneyland so, maybe the World has them too. I was at The Disney store today and, they had exactly 2 different toppers!

So sorry to hear of your topper being stolen. It is an awful feeling and to think in the body shop, if those cookies were free from the body shop, I'd taken them back and say "I don't want these, I just want my antenna topper".

I hope that you will be able to find one to make you feel better.

We had our car parked at the airport while on a trip to WDW a couple of years ago and had the flying goofy on our antenna. It was very hard to get on, and we didn't think anything about leaving the antenna on the car. Well, when we flew back into town and got to our car, not only was the goofy gone, but our whole antenna. We were so upset. Lesson learned, take your whole antenna off at the airport.

Good thing that Cubs one is IN the car....you wouldn't want to have to take your car back to the shop!!!!!

Hi All!
I checked DL and WofD to no avail The toppers they did have included: rainbow colors, Pirate, Princess Minnie (pink pointy hat), Basketball, Uncle Sam hat and a few others that don't come to mind at the moment!! Let me know if you can't find these or can't live without them!!
