Just last week I checked to see when I had joined WISH. A year ago I set a WISH goal to lose 15 pounds (after I already had lost 25 pounds on my own). Here is my story: My ex-h walked out of my life in August of 2002. I immediately decided to take charge of my life - which included getting rid of all of the weight I had put on over the years mainly as a result of being in such an unhappy marriage. Today I stepped on the scale and weighed 117 - which is one pound LESS than I did the day I got married (which was my goal)! 
I almost didn't believe it at first.
It didn't take me very long before I realized that my ex leaving me was the best thing he could have done for me. My getting healthy again - both emotionally and physically - has been the best thing I could have done for myself. Thank you fellow WISHers - all of your support and encouragement made the journey that much easier.
