Well, I STILL have 32 videos pending from July. I was on a roll of having several approved a week ago or so and then they hadn't looked at my videos for several days. Until last night. I had 5 rejected and none approved. I must have had a really picky reviewer because these rejections are totally ridiculous! I just sent them 5 emails asking why!

I did 2 travel destinations in Pittsburgh and they were both rejected for "background noise". How in the world can you do a travel destination in a city and not have a little background noise??? You can clearly hear every single word I am saying. I just don't get it! They accepted my travel videos from Hershey PA with people and noise in the background. . .

They rejected my Sheltie video. Why??? "reviewers face unrecognizable" That's a new one! I am sitting on my couch with my dog sitting on the floor next to me. Maybe my feet are unrecognizable but not my face. The dog is never once near my face and the camera in directly in front of me. That rejection is total crap!

DH got nothing but rejections last night too, bogus reasons. I too emailed. They were all $10 items also. Quite a trend going on.

I'm still waiting for my last nine to go through approval/rejection. I had nine rejected last month but they were rejected in enough time for me to submit nine more. If they get rejected, I'm out the $. I think I'll take a break this month. I'm out of $10 and even $5 stuff to review. 50 $2 reviews isn't worth it for me this month. Maybe next month.

Well ive still got some as far back as Aug 18 and 19 in pending all the way up until the end of August. There are several of my travel reviews from August 25 that I cant preview because it only shows a blue screen and several vids that wont even bring up the preview box. Ive had about 7 travel reviews rejected so far and 1 review rejected for camera work being shaky..it was ill give them that. lol. I hope they finish up soon. DH had about 20 to 30 approved yesterday but overall for the month hes had a lot of rejections.

By the way, Brivers you are doing a good job battling wits with skyscreamer over there ...hes really starting to annoy me.

AMEN to that! That person is really, really annoying and hoity. Someone needs to knock him or her down to size. That person isn't a moderator of expotv yet is giving really off-putting advice to new people. I bet her or she scares some people away, too.

Its a he. And yes he is very matter of fact and uppity to the new people. He has tons of hits on his videos too. I really just dont like the way he comes off talking to people as if they should be ever so greatful that expo has allowed them to make videos for them. wonder if he gets any kickbacks...lol

Hello all! I haven't checked in for a while. I'm not too excited about the new pay structure but I will continue to do videos here and there for extra money...because it is extra money after all! I had a bunch of toys saved from last month in case the pay went up again in September. Of course it didn't, but I have uploaded them anyway. I figure the videos are already done and there is money to be made!

I have a bunch pending from August still but I am lucky that I have had no rejections yet. Maybe I shouldn't say that and curse myself! I am hoping to do travel reviews while I am in Disney next month. I will have to watch some of yours and take notes on your techniques.

Congrats again to Quietgirll and I hope everyone gets their rejections sorted out/taken back!

I just don't know what to think....... I had 4 "REJECTED"S last week due to background noise (a bird in my backyard where I was doing my reviews)

today --------68--------- "REJECTED"'S for "Not a Valid/Helpful Review" What does that mean? I had watched other reviews for products in the same categories to determine what was important to include and tried to go a little further by listing ingredients, directions for use as well as reasoning for my approval or disapproval of the product. I gave lots more information than other reviews from the same days that were approved. I just don't get it! They don't tell you what they want but then they REJECT you for unspecified reasons. I know it is silly to take it personally but I just can't help but do that.

Not silly. I take it personally too. They are after all criticizing your hard work. I would email them. 68 seems a little harsh to me.

There was an announcement on their board that apparently they are getting a lot of emails due to the august promotion. They want everyone to do a bulk email if you can on all of your questions and include as much info as possible with your username.

I think I would email them and argue my point. Just out of curiosity what categories are they rejecting...were they 10 dollar videos or 2 dollars?

That is terrible. I am so sorry to hear that. 68 does seem very harsh. It is hard to believe they found fault with so many. We felt terrible when we had over 40 rejected for out of sync, poor audio, not a national brand, and not 60 seconds long (it was over 60 seconds when I uploaded it, expo cut off the beginning and end). Yet, you see so much useless garbage on expo and people who consistently break the rules and still get their reviews accepted. Expo went from the place everyone loved to the place that makes you want to SKREAM!

Due to having a finicky cat I happened to have a closet FULL of different brand and flavors of cat food. In trying to satisfy my cat I has read lots of cat food labels and come to some conclusions of my own as to the quality of different pet foods. And she certainly has opinions as to the different flavors. Expo TV offered $10 for reviews of pet food and apparently for the first time they were allowing reviews of different flavors/varietys:

I took this to mean that they were in need of reviews of lots of different brands and flavors so that is what I was trying to give them. I honestly wanted to be helpful and really thought it was ironic that I could make that kind of money by doing so.
I certainly don't want to post on their forums for fear of a "public putdown" by 'he who knows all about Expo and thinks the rest of us are all idiots' (you all know of whom I speak and I really have to wonder if they have made him a review approver and he is the one who is doing all of this to us since we are all idiots) and I have emailed them twice before to ask about my reviews and each time I get REJECTEDs within a few days but never an answer to my questions so I'm afraid if I email them again they may disapprove the reviews they already approved of mine and boot me right out of they system.
I know, a bit of over-reaction here, I'm sorry.

Did anyone notice now the HUGE error message that pops up when you select item not in database? And then as you select categories it now has a website where you MUST show availability. When did this get added? it wasn't on there last night?

No way! That is me! I have to go check it out! Makes me feel better after all of DH's rejections. I check a couple times a day and hold my breath every time. He isn"t into it as it is and doing it for me mainly!
