WooHoo, finally in . Now, I've just got to record. I just got up the attic, OMG, it's so hot up there. I found about 10 things of DS such as pack'n'play, swing, bassinet. Now, I just to put them back together, video, take them apart, and put them back up there myself since DH works all night. Oh, is it worth? I sure hope so!

I'm glad I made a few of you chuckle with the Hairless Yeti video- I usually shoot my vids in a bedroom, all locked up nice and tight- but to do the puffer fish, I had to be out in the living room. Still haven't figured out how to review the fish- if I hold the camera, the vid is all SHAKY- LOL!

Has anyone ever had videos disappear? I had 3 in pending and now they are gone...they have not been approved and I don't think they have been rejected (do you get an email when vids are rejected?) I emailed Expo but they take forever to reply! Has this happened to anyone else??

I have all of them uploaded already. I have like 6 more to meet the 100 max, that need to be uploaded.

The problem is when I preview them on my end (and I double checked on 2 different computers) they are fine. I upload them to expo tv and they are out of sync, screeching noise and then pause (in that order). However one that I looked out is perfect! Go figure!

I did email them and am waiting to hear back what they say. I thought it was my camera at first, but then used my sister's camera and checked after upload and the same thing.

Maybe it's an expo tv problem...on my part?

Maybe it is an Expo problem and not your problem at all? It is very strange that it works on your end and not when uploaded and previewed on the site.

I have three(3) , my only three mind you until I hear from them, from 8/11/07 that are still PENDING.

Not wasting anymore time until I see some action on their part.

When I started earlier this month, I did the same thing. I recorded and uploaded one, so as to not waste my time. Good thinking.

As soon as that first one was approved and I knew I was doing something right, I made 37 more.

I've run out of $10 items now with the blockade of pet products. I uploaded my last 10 items this morning and frankly, I streched it. I had three different sized fish tank nets, you bet your boopie I reviewed all three!


Husband says we have loads of electronics, so that is where I'm heading next.

Same here, I recounted the video's I submitted and am off by a couple, so am trying to upload 5 and nothing. I got up at 5AM (eST) and I didn't even get the "please be patient...." message. I wonder if they are doing system maintenance at that time.

I'll try again tonight, since these are all electronics it doesn't matter if I make it in before midnight tonight.

I was able to upload 10 in a row from 9:30-11 am, Pacific Time. I was busy doing other things so I wasn't able to see how fast they were going.

I hope everyone gets theirs in by the deadline. I am just happy they gave us a little time to accommodate for this change.

Maybe it is an Expo problem and not your problem at all? It is very strange that it works on your end and not when uploaded and previewed on the site.

Fingers crossed, I hope it is an issue on their end! I am hoping when they review them they are correct.

I emailed last night and have not heard anything and all my videos are still pending.

I am still going to upload the max 100. If they get rejected because of the issues I am having I am not doing to be one happy woman!

That was my plan too but with the change in payout for my pet vids, I had to upload a bunch in a hurry.

I've been filming and uploading all day long. I know I won't hit 100 today but I am trying to get all my pets and sports stuff done. An approval would be really nice, DH and I had a rather loud discussion about whether this was worth is since I haven't had any approved......... ARGH!!!! I have more than $300 if everything I uploaded is approved!!

I am getting some approved and I mostly uploaded in the Babies/Kids category...one question:

my Lansinoh Lanolin Cream for Breastfeeding Mothers got recategorized as Beauty/Skin Care product instead of Babies/Kids. Should I argue it? I mean, technically it is used to condition the skin...but I wouldn't have needed it if I weren't nursing.

I have found most baby items similar to this to be catagorized under health and beauty (ie. desitin, a&d, orajel) so doubt this one is worth your time. I know your point though!

Usually, synching problems occur as a result of using a codec that our
system does not support.

I am uploading them as mpeg or mpg (one of the 2 I can't remember off the top of my head).

What extension should I use?

What program can I use to convert them from avi files to one they support? *I know they take avi files, but not from my camera it won't!

They responded that my Gerber Graduates food should be food and grocery. They said mistakes might occur, but they don't classify anything other than formula as babyfood. I searched Gerber Graduates and looked at the first FOUR PAGES of videos. My video was the ONLY ONE that was not categorized Baby and Kids.

I'm finding husband isssues are quite common on this subject! DH was skeptical until I showed him the $ amount in my Expo thingie. The only thing that will solidify it for him is when I pay for our Hotel room next month at CBR using all Expo cash. I just need $420 more...(provided all of my videos are accepted, of course!)

I wish I could help. I use our iMac at home using the iSight and I just export it to the web and it drags it into Quicktime for me, then, I just change the end of the file to read .avi and voila!

Can you just try adding .avi at the end of the name of your file? If it is babyproduct.mpg just change the name to babyproduct.avi.

I have no idea if this works on PC's though.

The site is working beautifully for me today! I taped a lot of Baby/Kids reviews last night but was too tired to start uploading while it was timing out and really slow last night. It's for the best because they are going super fast this evening. I'm so happy they gave us some notice this time because I spent last night taping and tonight uploading. It's going faster than normal even!

If the site were slow, though, then I'm sure I would still be upset. I'll just keep smiling while things are going my way.

I don't know how many more I will do this month. I'm not even close to 100. I'd like to do that many but I'm trying not to stress about it. Any money made is extra money to me.

I just uploaded about 30 for DH and about 10 for me tonight with no problems whatsoever. In fact, it almost worried me how fast it was uploading.

I was a little disturbed though how they had hamster items listed in home and garden. come to think of it a ton of dh sporting goods were in home and garden. their categories are weird.

those of you having issues with easy share or uploading, i just thought i would share with you. my easy share broke on me and wont do vids anymore so we paid 99 and bought a samsung s630. It works great for this. I go into movie maker and this is what i do. I import the videos then drag to the story board. once there i click save to my computer. title it and click next. then next to other i choose from teh drop down box Video for LAN (768 kbps). then click next again and finish. Once you pull that down and choose it, it will stay there always until you change it again. Knock on wood...I have had no issues with uploading or with them accepting. I hope this might help some of you.

My stupid internet lost connection for about 45 minutes. Sometimes, for no reason what soever, I loose service. I have vonage, which must run through the cable, and it always works, but the I loose the cable connection. Ever since Time Warner became Comcast I have this problem. Anyway, that's about 3-4 videos I lost during that time

Also, DH is working tonight, my DD is at grandmas and DS is being a little terror! Somebody please help me.

I just uploaded about 30 for DH and about 10 for me tonight with no problems whatsoever. In fact, it almost worried me how fast it was uploading.

It is so slow here, about 15-20 each. And we have RoadRunner High Speed Internet through Comcast. It is supposed to be the fastest

I am trying fast and furious to get my last 30 uploaded tonight, it was working GREAT, got 10 uploaded fast and now I can't even log on AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!
