Another way to get some spending cash!

I found this website about a year ago now and have used their service a couple of times. The website is www.secondspin.com. They buy and sell used CD's, DVD's and videos. I recently sold them 104 old CD's that I had not listened to in years. They gave me $160 for them which I didn't think was too bad and much easier than making several trips to local shops to sell ten at a time and easier than shipping to 50+ different people on ebay or half.com. Plus this was old early 1990's stuff that rarely gets any bids.

To test their service I sold them 5 newer CD's several months ago and got $24 for them. You do have to pay the shipping to send the disks to them. It cost me $17 to send 24 lbs worth of CD's from NC to CA a few weeks ago. I cleared $143, so not too shabby. So far I've added $160+ to my Disney box by selling them old disks and cleaned out some of the old garbage in my house!

Anyway, I thought I'd pass this along to anyone who may be interested. If it's been discussed here before, my apologies!

Oh,Greg,now you've done it!LOL!! www.secondspin.com is going to get some of my Disney change for a CD I have been looking for a along time!! And it's cheaper than Walmart! I better not tell my Teen about this website or they will get her $$ too!!LOL!!

Thanks for this tip! Dh and I were just saying we needed to go through our old CDs and see if we could sell some of them.
