Another waiting for Southwest thread!

Question for our my fellow waiters and watchers.. When they release these fairs is there any added benifit to catching them as soon as they come out. Meaning are the rates lower? I think i worded that correct. Thanks!!

I would say that the lowest fares will sell out first, so it is best to catch them as soon as them are released.

I'm trying to help a friend with plans for WDW. Her dates are 9/29 - 10/8. Does anyone know if those dates will be in the next release?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm waiting for 9/30 - 10/15 and was told by someone at sw that those dates would be in the next release. But who really knows. Just keeping fingers crossed that he was right.

Hello fellow waiters!

I too am still waiting for August! (Actually I've been waiting since like Nov but I won't admit that. :ssst: ) Do we feel lucky today?

To all those waiting for like August 5th, I feel your pain. Last Sept I needed fares for Sept 15 and they were stuck on Sept 12 for what seemed like forever. :badpc:

Hi welcome to the wait. been here for days now...waiting, the disappointment is almost too much to bare. I just hope if they don't release today they don't do it over the weekend, I can't sit here all weekend.

Disneydreaming6,
Thanks for answering so quickly.
I noticed you are in RI - what do you think the fares released for up here (BDL or PVD) will be like? I am just in shock when I see 134 as the lowest available right now. For the last 13 years I've been able to "budget" 200 pp RT and have sometimes paid as little as 110 pp RT!!
I'm one of the insane ones - I'm looking for BDL>MCO for june 21 or 22. Didn't catch the release of those dates so now I'm (not so) patiently waiting for a sale/ding.

I am hoping it will be like it was last year. My brother and family went the same time we are going this yr and he only pd 59. each way. I normally drive to disney. (very very afraid of flying) but this year getting married on 9/29 and had to check in the next day so i have no choice. Everytime I have looked at the fares it has always been about that. Keeping fingers crossed they will be the same or very close to it.

No news is no news today.

Disneydreaming6 - just wanted to wish you well on your wedding - from a fellow Rhode Islanders who' will be celebrating their 20th anniversary on Sept. 20th!

Oh well! I guess I better go and get my shrivelled up daughter out of the shower! LOL

Wow they are really trying to drive us crazy...

Not looking so good for today......... At least we can be pretty sure it should be next week, I'd be shocked if they dragged it out past then.

well I guess I can get on with my life for the rest of the weekend now. Have a great weekend everyone, see ya monday :wave2:
