Another UT ticket purchase question, getting it via email and upgrading???

Okay so if I get this ticket via email and then add them to MDE for our trip in March can we add water parks and more to it at the gate????? Also, once it is entered into MDE....is it forever attached to that PERSON?? I am getting one ticket for our college son. IF for some reason he can't come next month and I have entered his ticket into MDE but can't come.....does that mean that ticket is NULL AND VOID or can he use it on another trip or can I assign it to someone else/save for another trip, if it has not been used.

Is there a disadvantage to getting a ticket via email?? Other than no refund???

You can use the ticket down the road or you can reassign it to someone else in your mde account
