I read part of it... But that fits us pretty well. I am always surprised when people talk about ironing.. Do people really do that? we are casual folks around here.

John Mayer is a ding dong.

A friend of mine (she's from Japan) irons her sheets. Sheets!
And her husband prefers his jeans ironed. (He's not US born, either.)

If DH told me he preferred his jeans ironed, I'd say, "Good luck with that."

For which reason is John Mayer a ding dong?

I cant imagine if Dh asked for his jeans ironed!! Or anything, for that matter. Totally foreign concept to me.

He just IS. His attitude drives my BONKERS. Makes me want to kick him in the teeth.

I've finally sunk so low that I'm now on the DIS begging for money. Yep, you heard me right...I need money!

Quarters? Give you quarters? Are you insane woman! Those are precious laundry cleaning devices.

Besides.. no one gave ME money when I asked for it HMMPH

Sorry! We have no quarters, I use them for laundry.

see.. laundry and quarters-- necessary evil creatures that go together.

. We are replacing them with glass (DD seems to think my cancer was caused by eating off plastic). She refuses to eat or drink from plastic anymore. I'm getting rid of the old plastic anyway, so I figure better safe than sorry and will replace them with glass.

I've been gradually replacing all of my plastics/ tupperware. I use less wraps and ziploc bags too. Better for health and for the health of the world. I keep looking at my local junkie junk store to find kitchenware from the 50's. FireKing, Hazel Atlas glassware.. I get a small thrill using my Fireking casserole ("white glass") and wonder about other housewives that used it in the past. We also have Hazel Atlas coffe cups that I picked up for 50¢ for 6 at a rummage sale.. I look thru various collector web sites and ebay.. only found one site that someone was offering the same pattern for sale. Guess it's not as popular of a style, coolness! Useful and collectible all in one.

OMG! I was just watching The Soup and they were making fun of Jon & Kate. It was the episode where they moved into the house and she was yelling at him for not using a coupon when he went to the store.

I just watched that episode, I'm all for using coupons-- but GEESH I can't imagine yelling at hubby for not using them or not turning over a receipt. Bizzare OCD lady!

I gave my husband a hug... and just started bawling. Why? I dunno. Probably because my belly button looks like a butt.

aww and You do realize we are having a blast with your day to day accounts of twin hyena pregnancy. I'm trying to imagine a belly button shaped liek a butt.. hmm interesting.

Ugh... He is hitting his sassy stage, and its just irking me off.

yep, it's the age of sassiness. But don't dispair, it doesn't last. It will be cycles of sassy and incredibly sweet until finally one day you look.. and you realize you did a good job and he's becoming a wonderful man.

Huh.. weird. I just went potty.. and I noticed that one side of my belly seems lower then the other. I wonder why? They must be migrating around in there.

Wanna see a picture? My husband finds it MOST entertaining. it kinda pokes out under my shirt.. seeing as how none of my clothes fit anymore. My shirts all hit right about BB range and my pants come to right below it. So I catch him staring at it all the time.. and snickering. He is such a butt head.

I hope so.. because he is about 3 inches away from being sold to the gypsies.

Thats what I was thinking.. But I can still feel his head floating, so he isnt engaged yet. Thankfully! Gotta keep them in for at least three more weeks!

But I can understand wanting to go, I had planned NOT to go this year. But the good air fare deals drew me in, the horrible cold and snow drove me away and I have some serious DL withdrawals fueling my need to GO!

Can't argue with all that..

There is no way we can go before Christmas.. But it looks very promising for early next year. Maybe the beginning of March next year. We would prefer to drive.. So we need to make sure that dh has enough vacation time to take a full two weeks. It looks like we could do two rooms at the Hojo, hopefully get a discounted rate. I dont know if getting an AP, or what would be better.. Oh WELL. Plenty of time to work out the details, huh? But I am almost positive we will be at the Hojos.. Lots of room, plus a super cool water park thingy.. Oh yeah!

I bet you would get entertainment rate for March next year..maybe not for the entire time but for a big chunk of it. The pics of the water park addition look very cool, it will be a blast for your kidlets!


As for an AP or not.. depends on what offers they have next year. There's a debate on the DL thread a few days ago over what is more cost effective.. Deluxe AP or calling to order an 8 day pass.

I would just get one for me.. Last year we had APs for me and DH, it just ended up cheaper in the long run for us. But we went a ton. I think we will probably just go with PHs. GEEZ!! I swear, I am acting like we leave next week! Im just so looking forward to taking the whole gaggle of beasties!

Funny how life gets in the way of being on the DIS.

Today, did my dishes and tidied up the bathroom. Landlord is coming thru to check for leaks and any repairs. He must have water useage concerns. Hubby told me not to run batch (making dialysate of 60L with hoses running down the hall to the bath faucet) , he will run on bags tonight instead. Don't want to give the landlord any excuse to be snotty about the dialysis equipment. He knows we have it, we told him it would require x amt of water every two days and generate extra bags of trash. But seeing it in person.... well I don't want to give him a chance to sputter about costs.

He's the squeeze a penny until it bleeds type of landlord. I mean c'mon our freaking crapet comes on a giant roll at Menard's for less than a dollar a foot. It's a step above the fakey green grass stuff that old people put on porches.
