Poo.. I just got an email from the the hospital.. I cant take the beasties with me to the tour. Not surprised, I didnt think they would let me. Guess I go alone.

Do they have a special kids tour? Most hospitals have one, but geared for elementary age and up kids only. I know they have issues wiht young kidlets running around the hospital-- little germ breeders.

Now if you had Super Target-- you could have grocery shopped and baby registery all in one place.

I WISH we did. I LOVE Target. I used to love Walmart.. but now I am to good for them. KIDDING! Target is just closer to my house.

Stupid registry thing. Everytime I clicked on something... It said limited availability.. might not be available when its needed. I so didnt have the patience for that today!

No. When we had Mikalah, the hospital we had her at did a sibling class, we took Alex and it was great! They went over what to expect with the birth, and when baby comes home.. and showed a movie. Then we did a tour with all the kids. She even took them to see what a new baby looks like. It was great and I wish this hospital did that.

I set up a registry online, hoping I get signed up for their coupon mailing list. They don't have all the things that is in the store, but enough to make it easy peasy.

Amazon is a good one to register with too-- they've had deals offering percentage off if you later want to "finish" the registry yourself. Not sure if they offer it now.

No. It was great and I wish this hospital did that.

I have set it up online, unfortunately... the folks my mom wanted the registry for dont have computers. My grandma is very against them.. Says she is to old for them new fangled contraptions. Otherwise it would be so much easier. Walmart for some reason lets you do it online, but not in the store? Crazy.

I know. Especially since Alex will be with us as long as we can have him there. I am hoping... even though I dont think they will... that they will let me deliver in the room. I doubt it, but it would be nice, and Alex could stay for the whole thing. He REALLY wants to be there.

My mom is a whiz at computer stuff now, turning 70 this year.

E's mom.. oy boy! She's a nervous nelly and thinks she will wreck her computer with viruses (gee that's why you get good anti virus software?) , steal her identity, all the horror stories... Or will find her to stalk IRL.
She's only 54, not some grey hair lady.

I know many hospitals deliver twins in the traditional OR, just in case they have to switch to C section. I guess it depends on how close the OR is to the OB floor?

Twins do change a heck of a lot for families.. right from the start.

My Grandma is... elderly. I think almost 80. She is a little crazy though. Like my mom... and me. It runs in the family.

None of it sounds appealing.

Safeway has a good meat sale going on right now. An extra 20% meat... I got a GINORMOUS beef roast, almost $20. regular price.. for $8. or something? Not bad. Then the clearance meat that is 50% off.. plus you get the extra 20% off.
