We ate out for lunch and now I'm back here eating leftovers. We were at Cabelas...it was crazy and totally packed full of people.

yeah, the downside of eating at someone else's house for thanksgiving is missing out on leftovers!

i'm about to put some chicken nuggets in the oven and make mac & cheese for the kids. dH will have a bit of leftover turkey and mashed potatoes that fil sent with us last night. I will probably eat the nuggets, too. swingin' time at the alex2k house tonight!

did you ever read utahmama's tr of her trip to the local cabelas? she called it 'redneck disneyland', and wrote everything in comparison to similar sights/interactions at dl. it was hilarious!!!

holy cow! sam, i'm watching the thanksgiving parade (seattle) on ch. 5, and i just saw someone in the crowd that i used to work with and was really good friends with! I'm sure it was her, how funny!

she looks a lot like my mom, and in fact once i accidently called her 'mom' at work.

she and my mom eventually met, and called themselves long lost sisters.
