I told them to shut up and went and locked them in the closet with duct tape so they would leave me alone....that's not against the law is it

He's a computer guru, specializing in web security, architecture, design, implementation, network configuration, server building... OK, well let's just say he can do ANYTHING.

I am a 46yo SAHM now, having quit my software testing job 3 years ago. We have DS8, who is bright, loves playing sports, sensitive, quiet and a bit shy, and DS4, who is a nudist/streaker, anti-potty-training, land-of-make-believe-loving little character. He is turning my hair gray quickly.

She's really very nice and is my bff. She doesn't act her age at all, is very active and refuses to let her hair turn gray. But dang her entire house is decorated from the 1970's. She even sleeps on a waterbed! She is widowed and her house is full of "stuff". You name it from the 1970's and she has it...even a Vinnie Barbarino lunch pail. A collection of the California Raisins, an avocado green bathroom. What's bad is she really thinks her home is very hip and up to date...well I guess if orange & brown long shag carpeting comes back in style! She's such a wonderful lady though, she's part of our family.

She's really very nice and is my bff. She doesn't act her age at all, is very active and refuses to let her hair turn gray. But dang her entire house is decorated from the 1970's. Her DH is in love with the psychotic lady next door that is plotting to take over her home. She really doesn't have any kids...but is affectionately known by all the kids in the neighborhood as the Crazy Cat Lady. She's never even been to DL, yet we all humor her and pretend. It's ok, her psychiatrist assures us she's harmless to everyone.

No, but she does have an entire string of Christmas lights that have beaded bells made with safety pins around them...a porcelain glass slipper collection, a dining room table with fake vinyl wood grain chairs with rollers on the bottom, a wrought iron plant stand and a harvest gold/orange/avocado green embroidered gigantic calendar on her wall...oh and my favorite (and yes, it has my name on the back for when she passes away because I like it so well) a gigantic mickey mouse clock that looks like a watch...complete with watch band.

She also did a lot of canning in the 1970's and is always bringing us up home canned food from the 70's! Of course we don't eat it, but we can't offend her. She is always giving me jams & jelly's and they are so jelled that we have to take a sharp knife to get the jam out of the jar. Oh and she did give me a giant bottle of real vanilla that she got in Mexico in about 1975. It's actually very good and tastes way better than any vanilla I've ever tasted...or maybe I'm just adding tequila to my cookies...anyway it taste's good.

Now maybe I'd better clarify my name being on the back of my bff's Mickey Mouse clock. Don't want you to think I'm out scamming elderly people out of their belongings. She has 8 brothers and sisters and doesn't want them all fighting amongst themselves over her posessions. She has a lot of collectables and has put in her will and told me that she has certain names that she has written on the back of some of her cherished posessions. She knows that I love that Mickey clock, so told me that she wanted me to have it and put my name on it.
