My belly. My husband every so gently told me that my stretch panel was showing.. I knew it was, I could feel it.. But I was hoping no one else would notice.

That reminds me.. sis told me a story about her middle son (2nd grader, autistic) .

She said he normally crawls into bed with her after her oldest goes to school and her husband has left for work.

She wasn't paying attention one monring, got dressed and didn't see that middle son was awake and had been watching.
She noticed he was awke and told him "oh sorry, did you see mommy's boo bies?"

He makes gagging pukey sounds in reply.



OMG we were all just dying with laughter whern she told us and nice to hear that he has developed such a silly sense of humor.

I have one of those, except not Braun. I like the chopper attachment-- quick and easy to chop up nuts or make bread crumbs without hauling out a big ole blender.
It also works great for making smoothies
Actually, I don't even own a blender. I think it died and we just never replaced it. Not like I used it much.

I own a 1972 avocado green blender. My mom gave it to me and as those of us that lived thru the 70's know...avocado colored appliances take forever to die.

oh well in that case, scram ... go mail those out right this minute.

Love how I'm ignoring you and still talking on the computer? I'll mail them out tomorrow. You really don't think I'm going to spend 42 cents of my own money when free postage awaits me tomorrow at work. I don't really have a lot, just a few that expired this weekend. I'll have quite a few more that expire next week.

Oh, BTW I found something interesting. Not sure if you shop at a Kroger owned store, but QFC is a Kroger store and they have their own internet printable coupons at QFC.com. They say "store coupons" and are good for the Private Selection or Kroger brand, but they don't say they have to be used at QFC. So I'm going to use them at Fred Meyer. They werre $1 off 1/2 gallon of egg nog, cookies, pizza, frozen desserts, and frozen fruit. Not often you find coupons for generic store brands.

I have.. absolutely nothing.

oh wait.. I'm poor as heck, that explains it.

We did pick up a few things this weeknd (free clothes , cheap clothes that we needed) , just a tiny bit of play money from subbing earlier in the month.
We hadn't goen out to eat / or picked up fast food for two months. McDonald's was tasty after a long break.

Yep, avocado green or burnt orange-- lives forever. I have a 70's table, the vinyl on the chairs is just starting to tear. Found it on ebay and love it!

oh fine. free postage wins.

No Kroger owned here, the big players are Super Valu branded (Cub) (they also own Albertson's) and Roundy's branded (Rainbow).

I noticed a small grocer from southern MN has bought up the metro area Simon Delivers grocery service, but they don't deliver to our apt building yet. They need 5 people to request service and ask the owner/manager for premission.
Darn! They allow coupons and always have B1G1 sales.

so I was at the mall today trying to finish up, went to the restroom at Macy's, and someone had their kid who I swear looked almost 5, anyway the kid had craped his pants because he refused to get on the toilet...it was gross and all over...I thought she was going to beat him...my GF was about to hurl, because it smelled so bad......and the kid still refused to get on the toilet...

I had to shake my head...kid must be afraid of the toilet, or is afraid to use bathroom in ladies room, or has a parent that needs to put more work in it..what ever the reason, there is nothing like turd logs all over the bathroom floor to start the official shopping season...
