I did a semi perm hair dye once, lasted for a few months.. see he has a thing for red heads and who am I to not try to fulfill his fantasy?

When I let the boy pick out his clothes one day... omg. He had swim shorts, a red tee shirt, his swimming goggles, mohawk, and army boots on. and NO. He wasnt going swimming. Frelan said he looked like some 80 punk band guy!

THen there is Mikalah... who refuses to wear pants. Oh well.. at least the babies will look okay. For a while.

my mom used to put my sister's hair up in a bun, but my sister wasn't crazy about it.

i can't quite tell what it is, other than shaved everywhere but the front top. is it a big curl? a mohawk? whatever it is, i hope he likes it.

ahhh, a curly mohawk! very unique, i don't think i've ever seen a curly one before. and i don't think i realized he had curls! cute!

Now hubby is begging me to dye it red.
but but but.. that's permanent!!

get the semi-permanent, silly! that's what i do. i'm not good about doing maintenance on my hair as often as i should; we can't afford it, quite frankly, and it just seems such an extravagance to me. so i do semi-permanent color so that when it grows out it looks more natural, it just sort of fades.

clearly i should read all the posts before i start yammering... definitely do the semi-permanent. and there are different types of red; basically if you have yellowish undertones to your skin (i do, but i don't think you do, g) you'll want a more coppery red rather than bluish red.

bluish red? I haven't colored in years.. darn now I have to see the varieties of red. Too many choices. I don't like so many choices.
